I'm reading 'Notes From The Hard Shoulder', and I picked up two while I was reading.
Megapixies, instead of megapixels, and a strawberry personal organiser instead of a blackberry. ;D

Couple of verbal ones that I've picked up - his accent's not that posh, but then he came out with piahno, and Jaguahr. Was unexpected!

The expression "wait for it". Have heard it a couple times lately on Season 11. BBC-A has only just finished Series 11 here in obamaland. Next Monday, we have a special treat...the Winter Olympics. Gaw...we're SO far behind. ;-)

Rolls Royce-ish when he was driving the sumo wrestlers in Tokyo.

On an ep of TG when he was talking about a new Rolls-Royce, he mentioned that the German bloke said 'This is nicht for the fingerpoken' and he put on a funny little German accent. Every time I hear that in my head or see that bit of the episode, I am just creased up laughing.

Every time I hear that in my head or see that bit of the episode, I am just creased up laughing. I've seen quite a few signs at steam rallies (yes I'm a boring old fart and go to steam rallies LOL) that say this! 'Das Machine is nicht fur gefingerpoken und mittengrabben. Ist easy schnappen der springenwerk, blowenfusen und poppencorken mit spitzensparken. Ist nicht fur gewerken by das dummkopfen. Das rubbernecken sightseeren musten keepen das cotten-pickenen hands in das pockets - relaxen und watchen das blinkenlights.' It's such terrible mock German, but I find it quite amusing, anyway

LOL! I would laugh at that too! Steam rallies sound like fun, I like old steam trains.

Hadn't picked up this line before from Series 3. James said something along the lines of popping his Countage cherry!

Hadn't picked up this line before from Series 3. James said something along the lines of popping his Countage cherry! Countach. Pronounced, er, coont-ash... It's a mad bonkers Lamborghini that James had a poster of when he was a boy, and prompted him to declare (after waiting 25 years to drive one and finding it to be dreadful) that one should never meet ones heroes.

I can't help thinking that that comment from him is a bit ironic. He said, you should never meet your heroes, bceause of the disappointment, but of all the people from here and other places who have met him, I can't imagine that any of them have ever been dissappointed. So it isn't completely true then.

It was funny because not long before James said about his cherry popping I had commented to TOH that Countage did sound quite rude. So when James said the line we burst out laughing.

I watched that Ep last night and couldn't help but giggle every time any of them actually said the name of the car. Maturity was nowhere to be seen in my house, as you can tell ;D

It is a good word. I love it when words sound normal in their own language but when you hear them, in 'English' they mean something different.
For example, the girls name Pippa, is just a shortened version of Phillipa but someone told me once that the word pippa, in Greek, means w**k.

What I have noticed that the phrase 'Oh Cock' has crept slowly and I only realised this for myself a few weeks ago, into my regular list of verbal expressions of annoyance. James is such a naughty influence on me. And to quote the great man himself; "That's not a complaint, it's an observation."

Shonky?? James used the word to describe the lunar module. According to the font of all knowledge that is wiktionary it means, " 1. (British, Australian, slang) of poor or dubious quality; shoddy." I may have to find a use for this word.
