Anyone care to enlighten the tweetless as to what's going on?

James tweeted that Chris Hughes is an arse. Mr. Hughes appears to be one of the organizers of TG Live.

Hmm...maybe he did mean Chris Hughes the ex tube driver and Mastermind after all.
He really is reputed to be one.

That seems so out of character for James. Well, at least what I imagine his character to be. My first thought was that he was joking, but since seeing the tweet, I can only imagine that he was hacked - by either Jezza or Richard. I can't imagine James publicly calling anyone an "arse," let alone an organizer of TGL.

The pic that James tweeted is identical to the Chris Hughes, TGL organizer photo that missb found.
I can see James having enough of a temper to do this if unduly provoked.

The above is quoted from his biog. Maybe James has a point...

Working with and for a wanker like that would be exhausting.
Good for you James!
I worry about possible backlash from the agency though. I hope James did a little CYA work first. Although, he posted it after midnight so one wonders about his "state of mind" at the time.

He's also a bit of a dancer, piano player and lounger , as you can see him with Jezza in the above Youtube . I've met him at TG Live in Aus, he might be a bit of a larrikin / sh*t stirrer as they say here ;D

Anybody considered he tweeted about him just to point out that the bloke is just an arse!!! No malice just a point of view.

I think he's probably saying he's an arse because he was holding a sausage. he's probably trying to analyse the sausage like a fine wine - and we all know James hates that!
or...James is just being his witty self and he isn't an arse at all, he just wanted to share a picture and couldn't think of anything else to write.

It seemed to me like he was joking, and it's possibly and inside joke between him and Chris Hughes.

Today on Twitter:
What if you're not really bothered about Marmite either way? Does that make you a social misfit?

and the follow up:
Thinking about it, Marmite is a yeast extract and, I seem to remember, a by-product of brewing. So it's beer's navel fluff.

I need to warn/ask you guys something. I clicked on a person's post on twitter, something to do with James and it sent me to a porno site. Last time something like that happened to me I had to clean my hard drive and start over. I have very good virus control now. Has anyone else had that experience. I remember the tweet, something about a green citroen.

That's spam/phishing on twitter. Don't click on links from anyone that you don't know. I get stuff like that and I never click on it. Be safe! I quote Jeremy Clarkson on this Mamite Marmite thingy, "I don't understand any of that!"
|
|
|
Post by amie8 on Mar 27, 2012 22:56:18 GMT
Is it the gooey, black, savoury goodness of Marmite that you don't understand, or the fact that you are supposed to either love it or hate it that you don't understand, or the fact that "Marmite" has become a shorthand to describe anyone, or anything, that provokes extreme opinions such as - to take two examples - Jeremy Clarkson or Top Gear that you don't understand?
I'd take the time to explain it all to you, but instead I'm going to have some toast - with Marmite, of course.

Did anyone see Jeremy's tweet/picture of James on his new twitter account? I disputed the account's validity until this was posted this morning: twitter.com/#!/jcrclarksonesq/status/185747414798450688/photo/1

That is one of the silliest pictures of James I think I've ever seen. And I really don't like that T-shirt!
I get the impression that James' and Jeremy's recent tweets are a bit of a private in-joke about the people they work with. James tweeted earlier this evening
Chris Hughes is being especially annoying today. Avoid.
and Jeremy tweeted at the same time
You probably don't know Rowland French but he is incredibly annoying
(Both of these were retweeted by Rowland French.)
