Well I missed the first 15mins ......thought I had the tape in, then couldn't find it .....my mission this morning to watch it again, this morning, seeing as I'm in for the day ;D

Definitely one for a re-watch and BBC - as you are releasing the specials - can we have a Britcar 1 hour tape - showing all the other 23 1/2 hours you didn't show. There must be more bits of them asleep, looking tired, unwashed, swimming in their own wee...... well maybe not the last bit. How about the bit where Jezza hugged Richard after the race? We know it's out there somewhere.

Well what I see, the whole programme should have been devoted the the Britcar race, not enough shown, sooooo the beeb a nice Special please, on DVD

This sure was a Hammond-episode.

- Richard standing against the car after crashing it
- Richard in that fitting white and red T-shirt (YUM)
- James wearing his earphones wearing a grey T-shirt after hearing that Hammond crashed.

I thought it was so sweet James was eating that banana, completely unaware of anything going on (mayhem communications between Hammond and Jezza at his side). All he was concerned with was how to eat that banana without looking too silly altogether.... ;D

if anyone is interested, i can copy-paste the rapidshare links for the episode...well episodeS, if you want to download them..or pm whoever is interested if there'd be copyright problems if posted on the site itself.
but a warning for those who are on dialup or have limited bandwith on broadband - the episodes are 700 MB each. good quality tv rips, official Scene releases.

as for the episode - loved it, of course. thought it should have been an 1 hour race special, but what can you do...
and the haircut! heheh!! i'm telling you, the heat poll has spoiled the man - now that he knows he's attractive, he's starting to groom and care for his appearance! my god what have we done!! the 70's leather jackets will be next!! *shakes head in disbelief*

Did you catch a glimpse of James running down the pit lane when Stiggy was trying to make the start of the race? He didn't even look that puffed. Jezza looked knackered though.

My friend's bloke work on a car magazine and met Hammond and May before they started the race - in the toilet!!! Apparently Hamster was really nervous - poor baby!

I think they all were. It's a huge undertaking - 24 hours plus the practice runs. That's why it needs it's own DVD release.
