As I was being driven out with girls a rather nice 3.0 Mk1 Capri drove past, the colour was a powder blue ......still a very nice vehicle. And a rather splendid Jag XJS soft top, beige interior and a very deep purple/aubergine colour exterior.....rather lush and for sale........

I have just seen a Aston Martin on a back of a truck smashed to bits. It did not look like the fire men had cut in to it so i am guessing who ever owned it is alive and well but what a waste.

Saw a Rolls Silver Spur III while running errands today. Had to act quick to snap the pic from my far less posh Subaru while crossing a bridge. Don't see a lot of Rolls outside of LA here in the Colonies.

How very strange. I saw a Rolls Silver Spur as well on the walk back from getting coffee this morning - here in Lansing, Michigan - home of the Oldsmobile, GM and Cadillacs. I didn't have my phone with me otherwise I would have taken a picture but once I got home I immediately told the boy who thought I was joking.

On my way home to pick up some more fish food, there was a light yellow Fiat Panda behind me.

Just had a text from Wyvern - she saw *THE* white Veyron on the way to the Tube station. That means it must have been very near my house AND I MISSED IT! Not that I'm jealous at all or anything like that...

Ever so slightly! I'd just spotted a silver Gallardo Spyder so was already in the happy car place and then I heard this rumble... it's not that it was loud (not fast enough for that), but it was so very resonant. I looked along the road past the traffic that was closest to me and suddenly I spotted that unmistakable arched grille, surrounded by white paintwork you could have eaten your dinner off. I had to look twice because, well, I knew what it meant, but surely not... but large as life, that white Veyron was coming... and so, very nearly, was I I just stood on the pavement like a numpty, wishing I could get to my camera. I must have looked deranged standing there with eyes like dinner plates and my gob open far enough to drive the bloody thing straight down my throat. It's funny how things can change in an instant - I've always admired the Veyron as a piece of engineering, and I've always sort-of seen the appeal, but to see it standing still... it's like seeing half a car, even if only compared with it keeping pace with a trickle of suburban traffic on a late September afternoon. I want one.

Not as good as a white Veyron, but still good enough for me, was the shiny blue Lotus Elise I saw at the station on my way home today...mmmm.

Daisy that's odd because coming back from the pasport office I seen a Lotus Elise in Black I was stalked by Porsche's today. seen: 2 X Porsche Carrera S 3 X Porsche Boxster A Porsche Targa 4 A Porsche GT2 and 2 1974 Porsche Targa's, one in red, one in black. I love the back of them ;D also a Jaguar XKR-S not bad for one day! but Wy, the Veyron beats all of them put together!

I'm not sure how y'all feel about this one, but here's my opinion. Have any of you seen the new Toyota Corrola lately? I've seen two different ones twice today. The back end of it looks like a dog taking a dump.

Absolutely agree with you Mojo. It looks like could have been inspired by a Morris Marina Coupe and aerodynamically I suspect it is horrid. Still, the dumper-dog back end at least stops it from being utterly bland I suppose. I actually have to actively look for Corollas because they're so dull I usually miss them completely.

Those are gorgeous, Dutch. If I ever have to replace my Vectra, I'd love to get one in either black or navy.

I had a Jag estate on the short list (with a Mondeo and the truck) when I was looking to change my focus. Lovely motor but not enough room for all the doggies

Despite driving 320 miles today, the only two interesting motors I saw were a yellow Hummer (rather lovely ) and a Nissan Cube in the most awful shade of battleship grey. It looked like someone had done the primer and forgotten the topcoat. I would also imagine it had the aerodynamic qualities of a housebrick but it was certainly 'interesting'

That's odd... I saw a Nissan Cube yesterday in bright yellow. I was thinking about kei cars at the time as I'd been talking about them with MF the night before and I was thinking Nissan Cube... you never see those in Plymouth... and then one of the damn things drove straight past me!

I have to agree with both of you! Not sure I'd actually want one on my drive, but there's something inherently amusing about them.

I suppose they are like other people's children. Nice to see but you wouldn't want one all the time.

Someone on HH posted a pic of the white Veyron that has been spotted in the general area of London. It appears to be the one XJ and I saw (on separate occasions). Pretty ;D
