Peugeot should definitly stick to making Saloons, Estates and Hatchbacks. I get the feeling that 4x4 to them means the same as it does to Porsche....

Now that is a different sort of parking, even I'm not that bad. Driving home last night in the back of beyond and a huge owl swooped in front on me, lovely sight but gave me a fright

I saw a lovely old vintage Jaguar while out and about yesterday afternoon. It was evidently being used as a wedding car, as it had the familiar two white ribbons stretched along the bonnet. Not sure what model it was, but it was a very nice car.

Just before I got home last night, while I was waiting to cross the main road near where I live, I heard the hollow, resonant growl of a Porsche flat six in the near distance. A few seconds later, a black Porsche Cayman cruised past on the opposite side of the road to where I was standing.
Not only did it sound fantastic, it looked great, too. It was finished in matte black paint! Certainly not your everyday automotive paint job! ;D

Matte black... that, apparently, is the "next big thing". I saw it on an Aston when I was in London last - looked good, which surprised me, because normally when I see it, I want to get out a stick of chalk and write all over it!

LOL!! In this instance, it was a lovely smooth matte black, not rough like that used on Stealth aircraft. You wouldn't have wanted to write all over this one!

That sounds good. Actually, there were a few cars that had it at MPH - a pimped H2 that was half matte black and half matte white immediately springs to mind. It was ridiculous, but very well done. On the other hand, there was a matte black Ferrari and I can't even remember what model it was, but it looked absolutely awful!!!

On saturday, as I drove to my friends, along the M25, I saw what was quite clearly an old stuyle fiesta, with a Mazda badge on it, and someone had put the back Mazda bumper on it too. Why would somone do that?!

At MPH I saw everything apart from a Veyron. I did see a Bristol Fighter and in the flesh it is a very striking car. I would like one, I'm not sure if the owner would like me

Wasn't quick enough to take a photo, but I saw a rare sight today (one of fewer than 500 sold in the UK...). I didn't even notice at first - I thought I was looking at an Espace, or possibly a Scenic when I saw the Renault badge creeping up the road behind a few silly women who wouldn't get out of the road... but as it passed me, I realised it had pillarless side windows and fetching two-tone bodywork. Yep, my car-spotting for the day was a Renault Avantime ;D I can see why they didn't catch on, they're just a little bit too bonkers. But it does have an undeniable something that means it isn't too hard to see why the people who love them really love them

Oh my god Wy that's odd you should say that cause a few days ago I seen an Avantine parked outside the school! It's like there coming out of hiding or something after one of their fellows appeared on Top Gear Though...I would prefer it if they went back into hiding... ;D

I saw another car finished in matte black paint today, as I was walking along Oxford Street. This time, it was a convertible Mercedes McLaren SLR. It looked brilliant! ;D

I saw one of those 3-wheeled bikes like James was trying to win in Reno in my building's garage yesterday. It was freakish looking. It has two wheels in front and one in the back like a Reliant Robin in reverse.

Just as I came out of my business studies lecture, someone parked a DB9 Volante outside the engineering block. He ran in, was there for about 30 seconds (long enough for me to snap a photo or two!) and then came out and left. I knew he was going because although I was facing the other way, there was nothing else around that would have made a sound like that!
