I'm sat by a MAJOR road in Brussels and if I look out the window I see hundreds of cars passing by but it's funny just how many Mini Coopers can be seen nowadays! I also saw a red Fiat 500 (new model of old model lol) last week And there is a Merc Kompressor parked in front of our building quite often, not an ugly car at all but Kompressor isn't really the most nice name!

I saw a Boxter in one of the car parks near work. It had a cloth convertible roof and I really liked it alot. At the traffic light entering downtown Thetford, it wasn't the car that caught my attention as much as the driver. Normally, I'm too busy driving to notice other drivers, but this guy looked just like my husband. I had to do a double-take, even though he was in a different car than the Laguna we own. Very uncanny.

There are soooooo many Porsches around here it's more of an event not to see one when I go out! There were a couple of Bentley Continentals about yesterday, an Aston Martin a couple of days before that & an orange Lambo that appears every now & then.
There's also a thing with a spider painted on the back that parks at the end of my road. It has no badges & I'm still trying to figure out what it is!

I remember the car with the spider on the back! Took me a while to figure it out and now I've forgotten what it was... The car spotting is particularly good around your way, though I'm not sure about that dodgy "Merc" truck that was really a Tata in disguise!

I can hardly believe that I'm writing this so soon after GG, but I saw an XK (possibly an XK8) on the way home from work today. What the hell is going on in my area? Where are all these cars coming from - and where are they going? Can they take me with them?
Now, the one I saw today was not a nice new one, it was a very early one by the looks of things, and again it had dubious gold paint. But it was lovely, nonetheless.
I don't get it though, I've lived in Plymouth, on and off, since I was 19, and always in this general area. And I've seen more car porn in the last few weeks than the previous few years.

I saw an excellent oldie car today - a VW Beetle Split. Using my truly nerdy VW book, I believe I have ID'd it as one produced between 1949 and 1952. I was rather chuffed - I quite like Beetles, despite them bing Hitler's little henchmen (or however that particular quote goes!)

Wow... the day is rapidly approaching when Porsches become commonplace! My interesting car spotting experiences continue. As I was heading to work today I saw a Mazda RX-8, which is unusual as it has a wankel engine. And then - at the same set of traffic lights where I saw the XK yesterday and the Elise the day before, I saw a pretty Morgan roadster of some description! It was silver and spotless and gorgeous. I was so gobsmacked that I've had such a run of nice cars in the last few days that I immediately texted XJ, who concluded that I'm being stalked by luxury cars

I saw a Noble M15 a few weeks back - had never seen one in the States before. Made the traffic jam/bad thunderstorm I was driving in a lot more bearable.

Just back from a long walk in the forest and I saw:
Various Porsches, manily Boxsters/Carreras but also a 1972/3 911 in orange. At first glance I mistook it for a Citroen DS! A yellow Merc SLK with the registration R ** SLK An ancient, yet pristine, LHD, split screen Ford pick-up truck A cross-eyed Morngan with the top down Assorted motorbikes, mainly modern and/or Harley-style chop type things Several 1950s / 60s British bikes (AJS, BSA, Triumph, Norton, Vincent) A pre-war mororbike that clattered past at speed as I was walking down the road A beautiful Honda CB250RS in blue with a bikini fairing that made me all nostalgic. I had a couple of red ones and a black one but I always wanted one of the pretty blue ones!
Finally worked out that the car at the end of the road with a spider on the back is a Ford Probe!

Is that not the worst car you have ever seen? I hope I'm but that is the car with the most horrible front I have ever seen

I actually like the Fiat Multipla. It is so incredibly hideous - it looks like a frog that swallowed a shoebox - that it is almost beautiful ;D Good old Fiat - they've made some real dogs over the years, but they're rarely boring!
Anyway.
Today is Sunday. Today I started work at lunch time. And today I was not on the crossing during the rush hour, when all the well-off out-of-towners are driving in or out of the city, so I wasn't going to see anything interesting, was I?
So why did I see a silver Porsche Carrera, followed two cars later by a Lotus Elise?
And no, these weren't the same ones I saw earlier in the week. The Carrera I saw the other day was a rag top, whereas today's was a fixed head. And the Elise the other day was gold while this one was black.
I'm definitely being stalked by luxury cars!

On a more positive note, I saw an old burgandy Jag like the one James drove on the French WA and two Boxters on the A11 going in the opposite direction from me. I also saw a Porche 911 on the roundabout that leads to my neighbourhood. Cool.

I saw a Multipla today. There is no getting away from the fact that it is a staggeringly ugly car, but at the same time, it is instantly recognisable. And I still like it, for some reason
