Oh you're right there Wy! Multipla's are hideous to say the least...

The thing is, they aren't any more. They got facelifted this year and lost all their character. Look... I liked the quirkiness of the frog-faced first gen version. Staggeringly, breathtakingly, child-scaringly ugly, but it makes me smile because it is so weird looking. I love that they seriously had the gall to produce something that off-the-wall and they went on to make a success of it. The family resemblance is there in the new Multipla, but now it just looks like another boxy people carrier. Fiat don't make boring cars, but they've come close to it here, unless this one is a lot more fun to drive than the vehicle's aerodynamics would suggest. Such a pity. R.I.P. first gen Fiat Multipla

EEEWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!! but I have to be honest, I prefer the old Multipla to the new one. The old one has character or something like that!

Since I left home this morning at 6.30 am till now 8.53 am I have spotted 12 Mini Coopers, 1 MG (was too far to see what kind) and 1 Fiat Panda! I'm lucky my office is on the 4th floor facing a massive 4 way street where I can watch cars all day long! Mostly seen here in Brussels are Mercs, Beemers and Opels along with a smattering of Smarts...
Wy, I didn't know that the new gen of Multipla's were like that... I liked the first gen in a way because they were different, ugly different but different in a good way... if that makes any sense

There are two outside a garage not too far from where I live, one is a nice creamy white but the other is a hard harsh white which is not nice.
Nasty colour too Dutch! I can't even tell what it is.... vile! BUT a lovely little car!

I can make sense of that colour, but I would't choose it myself.
It's called "Ye Ye Green" (?) and is one of Fiat's replica colours, based on the colours the original 500 could be purchased in. In the 1950s and 60s a lot of cars came in similar colours to this, or a pale-ish duck-egg blue or a particularly nasty shade of beige. Nissan did a similarly "retro" set of colours when they produced the Figaro back in the early 90s. All the bright, pretty ones are re-sprays!
To a lot of people, myself included, these retro paint jobs just look a bit "meh". And bile green isn't an attractive colour under any circumstance, as far as I'm concerned!

I saw a Bristol Blenheim, (possibly drop head) today and they are an interesting car. However I've looked at the Bristol fighters and they are soooo pretty ;D

Ooh, a Bristol Blenheim. Wow... very rare I agree with you on the Fighter though, it is a truly, truly stunning car, and even looks good in bright fizzy orange. I love it lots! And I'm never going to forget my visit to the Bristol showroom, it was so unlike any other showroom I've ever been too.

I'm not sure what you call it, but I saw one of those half-car, half motorcycles on my way home. The car half looked like the back side of a jeep. It was pretty interesting.

On checking it probably wasn't a drophead as they didn't make one. I'd love to go to the showroom

You need directions for the Copen to let you know the front from the rear

Loads of performance cars - Subaru's, Mitsuibishi's the odd Porsche or two, but guess who couldn't go!!! Looking after the kids today by myself and missed the chance to have a go in one of these cars for a fiver!!!! Can you believe it!!

Right. I know it's a day late, but we got home late last night and I was really knackered. I saw some very nice cars in Cambridge yesterday. There was a red Morgan with the top down. I also saw the Triumph convertable of my dreams parked in front of a curry restaurant. Even a Ferrari went zooming by as well. There was also a Hummer stretch limo (which will have to go on the ugly page if I ever have my camera when the time calls for it). I'll go to the ugly thread next, because I saw a couple of mingers as well. You know the old saying (I've used it in one of my posts to DT), "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". So is ugliness.

Another day, another drive with interesting cars. I say a beautiful, red Alfa Romeo. That was stunning. I also saw a black Triumph Herald, which I love.

I've just been out for a walk in my local area, during which I saw an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, a Lotus Elise, a Maserati V8 coupe, a Bentley Continental GT, and another, older Bentley coupe, which was lovely. Plenty of Porsches, too. Not too bad for a fairly short walk, I suppose! ;D

I see Porsche's on a daily basis zooming by (already saw two in a five minute walk this morning)... and loads of mini's including a leyland this morning!
