I'm uploading to Megaupload, but at the first attempt it stalled with only 40 seconds to go. AAARGH. So I had to start all over again. Edit: and it's stalled again on the second attempt. I'm more than happy to give it another try, but does anyone knwo how to revive stalled megauploads? Have you tried a different place to upload? Maybe rapidshare or flyupload.com Thanks for trying, though It's people like you that allow people like me to see it Oh, and with regards to the life-log thingie - I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I'll be slowing it down to take a look. I'm sure James is a very intelligent man - obviously he would know we would do this But, yeah, probs best if no pictures of Sarah were posted (although she did agree to be on television!)...but I don't see what's wrong with the pic of Fusker? We all adore that little guy

Thanks, MG....now you've just made me want to see this even more! This man really needs to play the piano for us more often...Perhaps they could incorporate it into every TG episode from now on

Does anyone know in what concert hall James was playing the piano? It looked impressive.

Hmmm that is a tough question. It almost looks like a ballroom from the Regency period. I imagine it is either London or Bristol/Bath (if he was there)

Did anyone think he looked tired on the train in Japan at the start of the show.

He'd probably been in Japan for a while and he had the TG filming too. Goodness knows how the cut and edit these programmes. Probably with a lot of wizardry!

I thought they might have filmed his Japan bit the same time as top gear because i remember him saying he stopped behind to test that rip off Rolls Royce I wounder if they use the same film crew to save the license payers money.

Yes - I assume Iain May (no relation) of the Garmin speedboat thingy fame, and lots of other lucky devils.

I imagine he was knackered- change of the time zones, long flight, long hours filming. I was always exhausted when filming just because it was soooo repetitive!

I loved the programme last night, I thought it was even better than last week's. There just seemed to be more variety of content to explain the topic. Loved the piano playing bit and the 'smile', well didn't we all. What disturbed me more than the Geminoid thing was the fact that James pronounced piano as 'pi-ar-no' - what's that about? Linking in to the Life Logging and the photos from the BAFTAS posted earlier, I found this BBC video interview with James and Richard. You can see the camera round his neck. news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7357684.stm

Thanks for the link, Maytastic. It's great to see that again. Yes, I paid attention to the life log around his neck this time. I need to watch it again, so I can see the piano and wheel chair parts again. I also recognize lower Wacker Drive in Chicago as well. I love this show. We'll have to set the VCR for next weekend's episode.

You're welcome mojo.
Also, everytime he mentioned the Geminoid it made me think of 'Germoloids'.

Oh, playing the piano... He's actually pretty good (and he knows it). "Beethoven wrote this when he was... hopelessly in love with a young woman who simply wasn't interested" The way he said this... so quietly, seductively really... I'm sure I actually blushed Was he teasing us on purpose?? I know I have an overactive imagination and am guilty of projecting all sorts of stuff but I did wonder whether he may have had our own unrequited adoration in mind.

Beethoven was stone deaf, of course, so even if the young lady with whom he was hopelessly in love had said YES LUDWIG I WILL GO OUT WITH YOU he wouldn't have heard her... ;D

Well... I'm SO pleased that I wasn't the only one whose kneecaps (and other parts of my anatomy) went all fuzzy at that 'look' over the piano!! I want an ASIMO!! ;D
