This came up at dinner tonight. Everyone I spoke to loved it, and several of the people I know are working in education and have incorporated the series into their teaching plans! James deserves to be very proud of this one

Yes the magnificent machines is the paperback (and possibly truncated version) or 20th Century.

If you go on to Amazon.co.uk, you can get the audio book new for £10.49 or a used one for approx £8.00. I ordered the new one earlier, but with the taxes, it came out to be £13.56, so you'll save some money if you go there. Shipping in the UK is free.
