I think it's a different technology as the one James used, more like the one Richard tried out once.

"A robot ‘double’ or a clone would be ideal, so it can write his newspaper column or dance with his girlfriend while he puts his feet up."
Goodness - James goes dancing? That's surprising. He doesn't really seem like the dancing type. I wonder what kind - waltzing at a tea dance? Freestyle in a club?

There's a nice article and very nice pics of James in Russia. On an unrelated note, look at the TV Easy photo of James in his pilot outfit: someone has added in a blue elephant on the aeroplane. Cute! Looks like Dumbo I think.

He wrote about dancing in The radio times. Not in the RadioTimes, but in Ozone, the Open University magazine. He notes that of he had a robot/clone it could take his girlfriend out dancing. I already commented that Woman probably muttered that any robot would be better at it than James. ;D Here is a pdf of the magazine: www.sendspace.com/file/724gvf

He's so cute, it almost brings one physical pain. I love the clips of him in the purple rugby shirt, his hair blowing in the wind. Or the flying car segment, when he's driving around the countryside with the late afternoon sun on his face. Sigh and sigh again.

As soon as he said other one from Top Gear you knew he wasn't going to like the show. Its unfair to compare it to top gear because this is a eductionl show which probably has a very low budget compared to TG.

It's an Open University series so the target audience is different and certain aspects need to be covered, being OU the budget would be small too.

Very nice piccy And that paper review the bloke lost me on the last two paragraphs ........still let him have his moment, I thought the idea is this is an OU programme/whathaveyou, to learn, don't think its meant to be anything like TG, unless someone else could enlighten me........it's called someone having a passion about a subject and getting the student/viewer enthused.......off to muse
