Daisy,
I just saw yours. It made me laugh the way you built up to "man flu". Great work.
CVG,
I thought yours was really sweet also. Earl Gray great for the crud of any sort. I swear by it too. Those were great movies to help him feel better, since he's a big WWII movie fan from the sounds of him.

Man flu, indeed! If James was looking for sympathy, he's still looking... Good posts by all of you here...many are quite funny. Learned my lesson when posting (and failing) 2 weeks ago when I mentioned the beauty of home-brewed beer, now I'll just read (and be envious of) all of your column replies instead. CVG: LOVED your post with the "M&C" watching. Too late to suggest "The English Patient" now, but that would be my choice should I be dying of t'consumption. (Now remembers Kristin Scott is Jezza's crush...d'oh...oh well, maybe James can appreciate the beauty of Juliette Binoche. I watched, as you would guess, for Mr Firth )

As a woman in a house with two men I have vast man flu experience. And the older the man the worse the symproms. I enjoyed our members commments very much, in fact except for that one, all of the comments were very civilized this week. Very nice avatar you've got there chasingtime! Very nice.

I DO NOT BELIEVE IT!!!!! Somebody 'dropped' the engagement thing!!!! There's the line, now very firmly crossed! I hope he doesnt get all defensive about it! haha, oh they did too! I wonder if they were reading this board, as I don't know if it's been discussed anywhere else.

I also completely missed the engagement line. Wordsworth must be someone from either this board or HH, the "is it a ring and if so what kind of ring and what does it mean" discussion flourished there as well. James - and other readers - must be quite bewildered by it. ;D

Yes, that's the perfect cure. Hmm, I feel a cough coming on. *cough cough* LOL I wonder what James will make of it? Sadly, I'll never know. ;D BTW, Lew, I loved your comment!!! Way to go!

Aww, poor James. He sounds like a big baby. I've never posted a comment on his column, although you all are so clever it's no loss if I keep quiet.

I think Fusker is hilarious. And two congratulatory comments. Does he normally respond when someone makes a comment along those lines? I've got to imagine he's horrified, whatever the situation.

He only responds if he feels like it or something has to be dealt with. I'm guessing he won't answer anything too personal. Apart from the ginger highlights query which was a no ;D
