Just finished it CVG and a jolly good read it was too Next on the list of stuff to read is one from my teenage years - The Fly by K M Peyton, the same author as wrote the Flambards series. I've read it before (over 30 years ago ) but she is a super writer and I can't wait to read it again. If you like horsey stories it's worth a try. I'll have to look that up! I do like horsey stories! Black Beauty is a favorite from childhood, as well as The Red Pony by John Steinbeck. Thanks! ;D

I'm currently on 'Queen Camilla' by Sue Townsend. I love her work, even without that she is a proper inspiration to me. She was made blind by diabetic retinopathy - which I also have, but very mild - and I look at her and think, she's still doing what she always did, even though she's blind now.

I've got most of her Henry/Elizabeth books. Good, aren't they? i think I preferred 'The Other Boleyn Girl' best, though.

She has a nice new book out - I saw it today while having a snoop round Waterstones. I forget the title, but it's about Mary Queen of Scots. Could be quite good.

I just picked up a copy of Wild Boy Andy Taylor's biography on Life With Duran Duran. I read one chapter of it on the train ride home today, between my son showing me pictures from his Where's Waldo book that I bought him at the Norwich train station. I can't wait to read more of it tomorrow after doing some cleaning and CV writing.

I'm reading a rather interesting book about how to write movies, right now. It's so useful for my media studies AS Level and it's just really fascinating.

I'm still reading and loving the Andy Taylor novel on his time in Duran Duran. It's getting really good, because I'm up to the beginning of their first tour when they meet and party with INXS. How awesome! I wish Michael was still alive, bless his gorgeous soul.

I've FINALLY finished reading "The Witching Hour" (Anne Rice), which has taken 18 months to get through, so I can carry on with Terry Pratchett's "Making Money", which I lent to someone half way through reading it but now have back.
Then there's just Lasher, Tatlos, Blood Canticle, The Mummy, Wintersmith, NFTHS, May on Motors, 20th Century, As You Do, On The Edge, Shelters of Stone and a few others I've probably forgotten I bought to go...

I've read a couple of murder mysteries but I'm currently on Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. It's now a film and was a Christmas gift.
