I've had a few, needless to say, and am hearkening back to my 20s. Sitting on the deck of my condo in Colorado, two feet of snow around me, steak on the grill, warm mountain sun, a glass of white wine in one hand and a smoke in the other. It's aaaallll gooood. Van Morrison- Crazy Love www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-HX1aag9JM&feature=related

I was in Albertsons the other day and John Denver was singing Rocky Mountain High. I thought how much I loved the song and his music and then thought about you! Then I asked the dairy stocker what they did with their daily leftovers and he said they gave them to a local food bank. So, for one brief and brilliant moment in time all was well, until I saw the choice of yogurt! Moondance is a 10

How much snow do you have. I need to call my Aunt and see what the totals were around Kent.

I thought about putting John Denver on too but I was thinking of this one. John Denver- Aspen Glow www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3Cy-QTA5aMI've just got to get back to my mountains. When I'm in the Rockies, I feel like they're giving me a big warm snuggly hug. Miss them.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfi3SSJPG9YThis is country roads by someone that lives in Parkersburg. My kin are from Marlinton small town. The slides are beautiful in this song. Have you ever been there? It would be great for Top Gear with its curvy roads.

I don't think we ever made it that deep into West Virginia. When we'd drive back to DC, we'd just skim the corner of it on 70. By the way, I'm excited for your new adventure going back to the "Old Dominion". Good part of the world. We lived in Alexandria for a few years.

I used to live right across the river from Parkersburg, in Belpre Ohio. It was among the six worst weeks of my life(long story), but it is GORGEOUS out there. I have driven all the way through West Virginia before. Very scenic drive. I think the entire state is in the Appalachian mountains.

Portsmouth Sinfonia - Classical Muddley
This is like the anti-Hooked On Classics, played by an orchestra whose members either didn't play an instrument at all or didn't play the instrument they were playing in the orchestra. Wait till the drum machine kicks in... and their 1812 Overture has to be heard to be believed!
My boss played this to me at work last week and I nearly wet myself laughing.

The Portsmouth Sinfonia - much loved and missed, by me anyway. Here, Wyvern, have some Mrs Miller: (Warning: cats should be removed before playing)
