It's of that time, rather than timeless. I love most the the McCartney songs and Beatles as I grew up with it listening to it on the car.

The Beatles stuff I agree with. It's the Wings stuff I don't enjoy anymore. Now let me sit down and listen to the 'Help' soundtrack........every track is a classic ;D

The other day I was watching "Help" and wondering what would happen if the Beeb put the TG3 plus The Stig in a house together... (my money is on total destruction in a relatively short period of time). And tonight's old but good CD is A Night at the Opera by Queen

"Classic Allman Brothers" - the Allman Brothers Band. A-E's ear for music is improving... he recognised them as "the people that did the TG theme" earlier. I was a tad surprised. I'm definitely digging out my "sunny day" cds at the moment

I can't get the new REM "Supernatural Superserious" out of my head at the moment. It has a powerful effect on me. I also like Amy MacDonald's "This is the life" - it's so catchy and so beautifully sung, and the words make you want to weep when you think about them
