Anyone remember the bit in sisters top toys where James goes into Hamleys to look into the pink thing and he finds that my little pony toy that sings to him?! Hilarious reaction! Im surprised he didnt get his lighter out right there and burn the place down!!!

I wondered whether the one he blew up was the one his sister looked at or whether there were two and she got to keep it. *I need a life.* I wondered that too. It would have been nice if she had got to keep one because she was so happy to see it unharmed! I also fell victim to the Weeble trap and resemble one as an adult. Perhaps they are to blame for the rise in obesity?

I know what you mean, Adco. I've got a big bum and budha belly.
I like James' sister. She reminds me of my friend, Cathy, from work.
EDIT - I started remembering my Light Bright set yesterday when husband and I were watching James May's 20th Century yesterday before dinner when he was visiting the neon bending guy. The beauty of those lights made me think of how much I enjoyed seeing the various pictures I could make with my Light Bright set in a dark room. That was so much fun. I also loved my Fashion Plates, Candy Doll (you could dye her hair different colours), my play make up set, and perfume chemistry set as well. Those were fun times.

It depressed all of us here at work that remembered them. I suppose fat animals are better than fat children. I have a 6 year old child of an employee that keeps me up on the latest characters for stickers and things. I must ask him about these when we have our next conference, which is what he calls it when he comes back into my office and helps me pick things out, lol.

I'm so used to the little people that when I saw the animals, I was taken by surprise too and going, "Aw! Man!". Then I started thinking about what you said the other day, Adco, and thought the same thing Wy said as well about children. I still remember how disappointed I was when they changed the Life game to be more like real life, where you pay for the amount of children you have instead of being rewarded for them like in the version I grew up with.

I didn't know they had changed Life. It does make more sense though, it wasn't really "Life"-like was it? I wonder if Mystery Date still exists? And if the guys look better, lol.

Hm. That's one I've never looked for. Have you ever noticed how nowadays, they make games like Life and Monopoly with the new cartoon themes? Like Spongebob and some of the newer Disney movies?

Oh yes, where there is extra money to be made. Used to have to explain why the Star Wars Monopoly and the Simpsons Monopoly were really the same game.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My son loved Spongebob so much, now we have a Spongebob Life and a regular (but not original) Life. Except for the pictures, there's nothing different about them. Do you remember the Mad Magazine game they made when Life became popular? I loved that game. It was the opposite of (then) Life, where you won the Mad game by having the least amount of money left. I miss that game so much. There were some really good jokes on the cards as well as the board spaces. Ah, the memories.

That's one of the many things I love about this place. I hadn't thought of that Mad magazine game in years!

I still have my Mad Magazine game at home. One of the best hand-me-downs ever.

Sorry for being a bit slow, but I have only just seen the destroying of the tree house and was horrified. I really wanted one of those when I was little Bad James Bad, still love you to bits though!
