I can't blame them, I have been to that restaurant with my ex (who lives in Sydney) and the views are gorgeous - food is delicious and I am not a big seafood person! Have also been to the Quay restaurant mentioned in the article above it, also nice They have 2 for 1 cocktails sometimes, not that is a reason why I would go there *coughs*

Loved to hear they were back ;D That's ok misspan. When I lived on the Gold Coast many years ago we used to take advantage of the free cocktails for the 'ladies'. Although we didn't really know what was in them (and didn't care really)

Funnily enough a friend was telling me about these free cocktails for the ladeeez the other day and how we must go. Despite living on the GC for x-number of years I've not come across free cocktails...only exxy ones I've obviously been frequenting the wrong bars And...Soraya and I caught up yesterday at Max Brenners chocolate cafe on the GC. Sorry Soraya that I was a bit crook and I hope I didn't give you my lurgy . I still thoroughly enjoyed our peanut butter chocolate frappes and tutti fruiti chocolate waffles.... Are you okay? Er yeah I felt a bit sicker in the afternoon as well...gee I wonder why ;D But it was worth it!! ;D

Soraya - I have no idea why you would be thinking of me when you were eating chocolate *coughs* Next year we need to do the Lindt cafe - it is even better than the Guylian one. Then there is one at Darling Harbour too but I dont remember it's name...............*shuts up about chocolate*

Yeah out of all of them - Guylian is probably my least fav. We have one called Chocolat here in SA, which is great. We also have chocolate high teas around Easter - can't wait for that this year...........

I just don't get the chocolate thing. Is there something wrong with me as a woman?

Possibly! I would live on that stuff if I was allowed, we need chocolate like we need oxygen!! There is nothing better to do at night than go to bed with lots of Jeremy and lots of chocolate, the best experience a girl can have on her own, I think. I have had a bit of a Crunchie fetish this week. But I understand why you don't get it, some people love it some don't. Maybe you just haven't found the right bar yet. Maybe you will enjoy the really high cocoa content chocolate, the really dark, bitter stuff. I love milk and white chocolate. Ooh, maybe going shopping today won't be so bad after all.

I just don't get the chocolate thing. Is there something wrong with me as a woman? Naah ;D. You're either a sweet or savoury girl and possibly both ;D I think you're a savoury girl, arencha Wy? ;D I've always had quite a chocolate addiction, but then I followed the South Beach Diet a while back which is very big on NO carbs and NO sugar and HEAPS of protein and after a week I lost my sweet tooth big time...I couldn't believe it...anyway I did regain it a bit with eating "carbs" *puts on yankee accent* but it reduced my cravings a lot... Nevertheless I still enjoyed my choc cafe experiences of late, also due to the company ;D

Do we have chocolate cafes here? We should import them in if not. I like chocolate although not too much of it. A little bit every day.

Chocolate cafe's sound like my idea of paradise!! That and Thornton's Vanilla Fudge. OMG, that is just unbelievable stuff, every piece feels like you are having an orgasm in your mouth. Sorry if that is a bit descriptive, but that really is what it's like. It is just fabulous! I just pretend Jeremy is feeding it to me and I am in one of my favourite happy places.
Wy - I get you, I am a savoury person to, to a certain extent, I do like potato crisps, esp of the cheese/cheese and oinion variety, but I only eat them when I am on my own.

The chocolate cafes here - in my experience - also sell savoury things. When we met at the Guylian one the girls had savoury lunches, then a little chocolate. I think I had two courses of chocolate *hides*

The chocolate cafes around here are like mushrooms. There seems to be one on every corner... Max Brenner's is the best. But frankly, if I cam going to pay $9 for a hot chocolate I would rather have a glass of wine.
