The man from my off-licence told me yesterday that he had tried really hard, but that he hadn't been able to find me a bottle of cider brandy. He did have some really nice cider though. I bought a bottle of his finest, took it home and really enjoyed it. It wasn't until I looked at the lable that I noticed it was from France..... James is never going to forgive me, is he?

Thanks for the link. I think I'll have a look around some of the old Amsterdam distilleries shops first. They tend to concentrate on Dutch stuff (often conveniently packed in Delft blue jars for our tourists), but some of them might stock foreign stuff as well.

This morning, Husband and I found Perry in the cidar section at Sainsbury's in Thetford this morning when we went to order our new fridge set from Curry's. This is our first time trying it. For those of you who haven't tried it yet, it's really good. It's got a very hearty, tart, sweet flavour and I'm enjoying it tremendously. Visit your local Sainsbury and see the cidar section. It's definately worth a try.

I've just acquired an .avi file of the extras. For those of us unlucky enough to not live in Britain and see them, PM me if interested and I'll try to upload them.

Didn't know where to post this, but hubby's just returned from the shop with the Sunday Mail (yeah, I know)... it's got offers on the 'Keep Calm and Carry On' range... a free poster (collect three tokens), and the four mugs for £12 (with six tokens), plus 10% off other items from the KCACO site! ;D

There is another member here who loves Oz as well. I know, and I hope Vixen and I make great friends - I wonder if we'll end up as Oz's bodyguards? For those of you who are members of Hammond Heaven too, I used to post there under the nickname Kitty_Lincs.
