This is going to sound like a really stupid question, but what day's paper does his column actually appear in? I've always just checked it out at the Telegraph website, but I think I found a local newsagency that carries the Telegraph and I'd love to have a hard copy of James's column.

I've always just checked it out at the Telegraph website, but I think I found a local newsagency that carries the Telegraph and I'd love to have a hard copy of James's column. It's in the motoring section of Saturday's paper. But if you live outside the UK, you might want to check if your paper has that section as the Telegraph outside the UK doesn't always have all the sections it has in the UK.

I just can't believe that James May knows who Iggle Piggle is. Maybe he secretly watches CBeebies on his days off, well he is still a kid at heart.

I snorted at that too. I just got a very lovely looking whatever after posting that it is now being posted as soon as the mods read them. The formatting was very lovely in a nice lavendar background. Mine probably won't go in, since I said something to the affect that these newspapers need to get a life. I stand by that 100% and meant it.

If any of you go in and see Mo, it's not me. I signed as Maureen. Of course, mine didn't go in since the mods are back and I don't have much faith in them, given my history with them before.

Hmm! still only 27 comments up - that probably means that another 100 or so will turn up tomorrow - the day when the new column appears!

I like his ideas for a TV programme. Would be wonderful. There's nothing like burning stuff to rid yourself of burden. As for classic cars, quite agree. Cars aren't made for sitting around being cooed over.

Well, a car being cooed over is no bad thing, I love old cars and looking at them.

Thank you, Dutch. You're a star. Please bear with me. Now that the commies are in charge of the websh*** again, James will think I've given up on him. Not a chance. I'll still copy and paste from here, even though I'll just get snubbed again like this past week and before on the old version of DT. James, if you're lurking here, this is where you'll be able to see what I think of your fantastic and outstanding articles. If you don't, well you'll probably never hear from me again since your moderators don't think I'm fit to breathe in their direction. I love this article. Any show he's come up with or will come up with has been brilliant in my opinion. I think "Rubbish Roadshow" would be a great idea, once he's done working on the toy engineering and moon shows. I'd definately watch it. Burning old stuff or (preferably) recycling it into something new (once you've taken a picture for posterity) is a fine idea. Same with the usable parts from an antique car that can be melted down to be used in sheet metal for the new ones. As for artwork, I'm a huge Rembrandt fan. I love the paintings, but sadly don't own an original, much less a copy. However, I do own an original galleon ship one from a deaf Japanese artist that sold it to me 15 years ago. To this day, I still have it hanging over my fireplace. James, if you do lurk here (please do), you'll be able to see it under my shpeal. Love always, Maureen

My comment was not posted ether i know it was not rude so i guess i am not witty enough for them.

I'm sure it's not that you're not witty enough - the DT mods are slow and not exactly good judges by the looks of some of the stuff that gets through.

Thank you, Ly. No, UM. I just looked. Still the same. Pot luck, or pot head who read and deleted all of ours that should've gone through.

I would love to have been in the meeting where he pitched the idea about the Rubbish Roadshow and watched the tumbleweed blow past.

Thanks, Shani. For some reason, mine came out strange. I copied and pasted what I wrote on the last page (polishing it up some and leaving out the first paragraph ). Good luck to all who try to post.
