From BBC page (remember that it is April 1st)
Modal Shift for Top Gear
Category: Factual & Arts TV; BBC Two Date: 01.04.2009 Printable version
Top Gear, BBC Two's iconic motoring magazine, is to depart from tradition in the next series, and will focus on cycling as Britain's prime means of transport. Gone will be the razzmatazz associated with fast cars and petrol-headedness, to be replaced with the somewhat more sedate form of transport more associated with Miss Marple and country parsons.
"It's obviously a bit of a climb-down," admitted top presenter Jeremy Clarkson. "My contempt for human-powered transport has been well-known for a long time, but you have to face facts: the car industry is on its knees, Peak Oil is just around the corner and I'm not getting any younger. Frankly, it's pretty pathetic when a male-menopausal baby-boomer tries to pretend that he's still a boy racer."
Richard Hammond, who, riding a bicycle, won the race between different transport modes in November 2007, was far more up-beat. "I love all forms of transport and some of the bikes that are available are just as thrilling to ride as any car is. I'm particularly fond of sleek carbon frames and will be exploring different cycling genres, including road racing, sportives and audax. There's also the perennial debate about different gearing systems: some prefer the derailleur, when the chain is literally hauled from one cog to another, whereas the Germans (who else?) have come up with a 14-speed hub gear which reduces the need for maintenance to almost nil."
James May added "As usual, I'll be into tradition. I've already ordered a penny-farthing from a builder in Essex, and have a number of marvellous machines to show off in the new series, including frames from Longstaff, Hetchins and Mercian. I'll be going out on Sunday Runs with the Cyclists' Touring Club and will be drinking tea and eating cake, but I won't grow a beard or wear sandals."
Top Gear, Sunday 21 June 2009, 8pm, BBC Two.

I use it for 'puke' myself ;D but it's meant to be 'my lips are sealed', I think.
