Write a story about Jeremy

I am really looking forward to see how much Jeremy has done when it comes to work in that train. You bring up a good point. He would have become dirty just being in the room with the coal. He wouldn't necessarily have to be shoveling it. Hmmm... We're on to you Jeremy! It still makes my lungs hurt to look at him.

It still makes my lungs hurt to look at him. Jezza smokes like a chimney. I wouldn't be feeling too sorry for him or his lungs.

A lot of things make my lungs hurt lately. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke and basically everything green that lives just outside of my apartment. My husband goes outside to smoke, but lately he's been leaving the door open. He might be doing it because it's nice out ... or maybe he's trying to kill me. I'm not sure which it is yet. ;D

A lot of things make my lungs hurt lately. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke and basically everything green that lives just outside of my apartment. I suffer slightly from hay fever as well and I was really pleased with a tip I saw in a TV programme lately. It's to simply rub some oil or Vaseline around your nostrils, as that will catch most of the polls that make you sneeze. I'm going to try that on my hike this weekend!

I've got the same problem too. I tried it after a friend recommended it yesterday. It does seem to help. Hope you have a nice time on your hike and it helps you as well.

Do any of those hayfever remedies you can get over the counter in chemists do any good? I was reading an old article of Jeremy's where he said he took a Piriton pill and he felt like a zombie for days afterwards.

I took Tylanol Hay Fever remedy last night and it knocked me out. Until I fell asleep after lunch earlier, I felt like a zombie. It does get rid of the symptoms for a while, but it really wipes you out.

So they aren't really all that good if you want to feel like a human.
Have you ever considered, and this may be an ironic suggestion, a natural remedy of any nature or something holisitc?

In the past I've found H Hayfever and Allergic Rhinitis Tissue Salts by New Era to be quite good, but I've not been able to get them recently. That's homeopathic

Not in a long time. They used to work pretty well. Oblass was good too. I find that honey from the location you live in helps as well. I'll try anything, really. I just had it so bad yesterday that I used the OTC method as a last resort.

Are they available online anywhere? I am quite lucky, I think, I don't get hayfever as such, I don't think it is hayfever anyway. Flowers, the scent of them, does make my eyes water, I don't understand how anyone can enjoy the scent of them, it is so strong and 'sharp' if you get me, it makes my nose burn a bit too, and watery eyes only happen sometimes. Esp if I am anywhere near a gorse bush and its horrid, smelly yellow flowers are in bloom and the sun is beating down.

I found a sight at the beginning of the decade, but I can't remember the name of it anymore. What you can do when you Google is type in Homeopathic Remedies or Natural Remedies and check out the different sights. The one I used in 2001 (I wish I could remember the name) had some of the same things I used to get from Wild Cheetah when I lived in Las Vegas. They also have some nice bath products made of natural ingredients that are really nice to soak in too.

Oh, sorry, UM. But they have all sorts of other natural remedies, hygiene, and house cleaning products as well.

Cool! I am planning on changing that though, getting a bath back. Might take a while though, with everything else I have going on.

Someone (can't remeber his name) on countryfile was showing a hayfever sufferer how to make nettle tea, said it can help. Can also be bought in health shops to avoid the nastiness of picking them fresh!!

I may have to look him up. I wouldn't mind trying the nettle tea. I've been fine today, but if it's anything like yesterday again - phew.

Thank you, MG. I added it to my favourites and will be looking more into it, probably tomorrow.

Try eating local honey and/or taking bee pollen tablets. They build up an "immunity", like taking small doses of arsenic ;D It's helped me!
