I was bored earlier. And I'd figured out how they compile their urls so I can get to it before they post a link on the columns page, ;D
Now I have a shed-load of reports to sort. The buggers wonderful teachers have all left it till NOW to hand them in before they waltz off on half term next week!
Sorry, that should have been on the rant thread...

On his view of the Welsh and i know he's only joking but i'm neither ginger (brunette even if it's from a bottle to mask the grey ) nor separatist, though i consider myself Welsh first then British. Oh and there are 7 vowels in the Welsh language.

Actually, Spud, i was thinking more like he was referring to the Scottish. Incidentally, going back to the gingerhaired thing it's one of the hair colours apart from jet black that i'm very very envious of.

I'm wondering what to write that won't be too cheeky to be modded.......
I'm brunette also without the aid of hair colour, and not ginger

My sis, by the way, was born ginger and is now a dirty blonde, whereas my mum and dad are darker than me and i'm right dark brown. you could say they were almost black haired

In my comment I actually referered to a rather nice German expression: Was sich liebt das neckt sich, which means something like "you tease those you love." For all you Welsh girls out here, I'd take great comfort in that. ;D (And didn't James spent part of his childhood in Wales?)

We're all a mix. I have welsh somewhere and irish. I'm sure James is just being Jeremy for a minute and saying something for the effect. I wish he wouldn't. As for red hair - I've always wanted long, pre-raphaelite red locks and I got boring brown instead.

Brown Ly.....long locks of very dark brown hair, which is thick and not at all like mine, sobs in my pillow I'll just have to keep with dyed hair, that's very fine ;D

James was only having a playful dig cos Wales beat England. Yes, he spent some of his childhood in Wales. Just accept we're a lovely mix of different races in our blood but are English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh etc etc in our hearts

I'd love a Welsh accent. I'm particularly fond of the way they say "cock" As for hair colour I've no idea what mines is anymore. I want to dye it pink again but I thinkI have to be sensible for Australia

It is a well constructed piece of writing. Just my construction is needing a little scaffolding

No Glam, ewe doan wana Welsh accent i'm tellling ewe now right, mush? Give me a lovely Scottish or Irish lilt any day. I may have to read his column again cos i think it was something to do with a button and a car? Is that what he's on about? Sometimes i'm not entirely sure what he's getting at but love his style of writing. That's why i never comment, cos i'm not sure i've understood

A friend of mine has been doing some local radio for a community station in Rhondda Cynon Taff. As usual, my mate sounds like my mate, but OMG, the guy who hosts the programme he's been appearing on! He has a gorgeous Welsh accent, so bloomin' honeyed an apiarist would get over-excited...

I cling on to my Yorkshire (or more accurately, Leeds) accent despite having defected to Lancashire 12 years ago

we can do a swop then Cheesey, although I'm not sure if mine can be described as a lilt. I was once told I was "excessivly Scottish"
