I love the stuff.....plasticine, play doh (sp?) was the stuff I hated ;D But you can eat Playdoh - goodness knows, I consumed enough of it as a kid. Maybe it explains a few things now ;D Me too

It has, but it's nice to see it again. And, I've just noticed, he's using a pasta roller! I have one (same kind, actually) and I use it for rolling out modelling clay as well. It's never seen a piece of pasta in its existence.

There will be a website with the programme! Not much news yet, but here is the url: www.jamesmaystoystories.com. It seems I can't copy and paste the nice pic with James. Edit: the link now works! Thanks for pointing it out DD.

That's a beautiful design. I love the idea behind it. Makes me want to get my Plasticine out again when I get home, and make something other than a Porsche!

It does look very complicated. Something that occured to me is that if it is a very hot day/s when the garden is fully completed, the smell coming from the plasticine is going to be unbearable, it might cause headaches!

It's one of the smaller gardens but I'd be more concerned that they entire thing would start to melt and go a bit floppy. Although they may ensure something protects the garden. Rain would be ok.

I was only saying to MF the other day that some of the flower designs don't look like they'd stand up to the heat too well because of the floppy factor. Hopefully though, it won't be too much of a problem.
And good point about the smell, UM - not the usual kind of floral scent!

No, indeed. But didn't someone who was at the Home Show not say that the flowers were stiffened with metal rods?

Blimey, he has asked Jane McAdam Freud to do the sculptures.
