Most of that would be difficult to remove. Only the parts on the lego flag background would be easy to take off

James will be on the BBC Breakfast show next Tuesday to talk about Toy Stories. Damn, I'll still be in Barcelona then - yeah, poor me -, better set the dvd recorder. I hope my flight that afternoon isn't going to be delayed. I'll be back just in time to catch the first episode.

Bloody hell! I went into town, but I completely forgot to buy the Radio Times. Guess I was too excited at meeting noone less than the lovely Jamie Oliver at a booksigning.

Nice interview, I actually learned some new things about James. Who knew he trained as a foundry technician? Quite a switch from that to the harpsichord, I must say.

The blue plastic James is scary. I think it's because the face looks like a death mask, plus the molding process can't have been fun for I-don't-like-anything-touching-me-May

...I-don't-like-anything-touching-me-May It's only men he really doesn't like touching him, and makeup artists messing with his hair. He might not have liked the process - I've done head and hand casting before, though not full body casts, and you can never tell from the things they say and do under normal circumstances how a subject will react. In fact, the worst reaction I've ever encountered was from an extremely flamboyant, gregarious and tactile young man, who went into a complete panic when I finished putting on the plaster support bandages and started lurching around the kitchen like Frankenstein's monster.

Ah, I get you. Yes, that's possible, though usually what freaks people out isn't the closeness of the mould so much as having their eyes and mouth covered. Like I say though, the way people react to the process is completely impossible to predict. I cast a lady with OCD and Aspergers once, and I'd been warned to expect problems... she fell asleep under the alginate and didn't wake up until I started cutting the plaster off!

You can imagine him saying that, like a little boy.
