When i´m alone in my car, without my son, I love to drive to music from a band called Tool. I find it relaxing, especially on the motorway. If my son with me in the car, we have our personal "Top Gear Soundtrack" to listen or AC/DC... He loves AC/DC very much. I must say, I never liked them very much, but in 2010 we were on a concert, here in germany and they had a very good show for such "old" man, it was fantastic!!

That was great although the song was a hit back in 1991. I can't remember who sang it, didn't know Rascal Flatts had even done it.

With me, if I drove, it would be anything from my collection. I am an out and out metalhead. I listen to Motorhead, Megadeth, Ozzy Osbourne, etc, so it is all loud and noisy. Maybe it is a good thing that I don't have a license, I daresay that if I had, I wouldn't keep it for long. Unfortunately, Ozzy just makes you drive incredibly fast. I always drive to "Perry Mason" singing my arse off. I get very odd looks (especially when the window is open) Metallica's "one". brilliant for driving to if you a metalhead. To me, the best driving track The WHO Don't get fooled again oh yeah!

Driving songs of mine are completely unrelated to each other. I usually like loud guitars when I drive and here are the main songs I like listening to in no particular order: Phil Collins - Easy Lover (I used to listen to this with bulky headphones on vinyl when I was little, which dates me already) and Sussudio Simon and Garfunkel - Baby Driver ( Loved this one when I was really little...kindergarten level. I still do. Little did I know the subject matter would hold significance many years in the future. If only I'd known.... ) Paul Simon - Late in the Evening (another one I rocked out to in my formative years) Paul Oakenfold - Faster Kill Pussycat (done by the late Britney Murphy ) Loreena McKennitt - Mummer's Dance Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party (harkens to my 80's roots) Radical Face - Welcome Home (One of the songs I play when I go to work. The other is Couperin's "Les Barricades Mysterieuses". Thanks, James) Boom Boom Satellites - Pill

That was great although the song was a hit back in 1991. I can't remember who sang it, didn't know Rascal Flatts had even done it. I think you're probably thinking of Tom Cochrane, who by coincidence lives about an hour away from me. That song was possibly his biggest hit as a solo artist, but since then he really hasn't put out much material.
