So it could be a replacement then. It's good to see so many people were there. Looks like a huge event then and he was safely tucked away if he wanted to be. I hope he wins something for this garden at Chelsea (although suspect RHS judges to be slightly snotty.)

I'm rubbish at art things so I'm glad I didn't go. I would have ended up making rude things with the materials

Wonder if anyone tried to make a 911 I couldn't make it today (too busy recovering from an excess of aeroplane squeeage, and still can't quite get over how fantastic it was) but I'm very tempted to give it a go just for fun because one of the few art skills I have is for prosthetic makeup and I generally use plasticine to create the sculpts for the prosthetic pieces

Hi folks. Sorry about my delay in responding. I have been away for a few days & didnt get back til late last night & then went out today. Ok A repot I hear you cry. Oh go on then lol I & my sister met at the designated place & time. We had a small look around while we got our barings at the home show. we decided we would get a cup of tea first but stopped to watch a demonstration about blenders. The lady made a fruit smoothie but added carrot & cabbage in lol you couldn't taste it, it was quite nice. So after we tried that we decided we didnt need a tea after all. I suggested we go see James first so we were shown to a table with several colours of plasticine & various items we needed. James was at a stand in front of everyone with a microphone attached to him same as he used in TGL. He was explaining how to assemble said floweres & making some himself as he went along. He was bantering with members of the public over the microphone while he was demonstrating. I didint do too well to begin with. I felt a little frustrated as my sister picked it up pretty quickly. I heard James ask have you made your pettles yet? I happened to look up as I was still stuggleing with the stem. he seemed to be looking in my direction but couldnt be sure. so I slightly shook my head at him & sure enough he had picked me out of a hall full of people & said something like surely it isn't that hard or words to that effect. lol But he was teasing. I just got picked on. He also went around different tables followed by the camera crew. they were at the end of our table a couple of times. He spent quite a while with a young boy at our table helping him. note pics above. He also showed my sister how & where to squeeze the pettles. They aventually broke for lunch. we avoided expensive food & found a pub close by & had a meal there which was nice, & there is also a cafe. when we went back I decided to make more flowers while my sister went around the show. I was more confident & my flowers were a lot better & I enjoyed it then. Jamers came & went. He spent more time disappearing & filming, then he would show himself from time to time. In which time people/children flocked around him to get his signiture. then he would appologise because they needed him for filming & he had to go. I tied 3 attempts to get my pics signed. sorry yes I was one of them. He said to me he hadn't seen Oz since the signing. I didn't get my pic taken, he just had so little time. My sister met me back & I went home a happy person. ]
