Ok, I'll now own up to having gone to the Guildford signing! I literally just asked for a few seconds of video, wishing a Merry Christmas to all the Mayhemmers. Being the gentleman he is, James complied without question.
The reference to Hammond was because I'd also asked him to sign Richard's book PP Richard for a friend's daughter who has recently had an accident & ended up with a fractured skull. I think he, understandably, connected the two requests & as they were really putting the pressure on to hurry I couldn't really fit in any more explanations. I also got a copy of the Leadenhall photo signed.
