Just a curiosity. Out of all the challenges and films that TG have made over the years, which one/s would you have liked to have been a part of and in what context and why? Just a wee fun discussion.

I should probably give this more thought, but I'd like to have been part of the Veyron challenge... in the plane with James!

I would love to be Jeremy's sound recordist in the cars with him, but I have no stomach for fast motion so I would puke everywhere.

I would have liked to be in the one where Jeremy was in the Lambo, James was in the Aston and Richard was in the Porsche. Those roads were stunning - I would go in the Lamdo of course ;D

It was gorgeous - some of the roads I have been on - in a Contiki tour bus - but I think they would be better in a Lambo ;D

Either Africa or Vietnam. The pole would be too cold and wouldn't want to be eaten by polar bears. Also, you had to do both ways. The Japan Race wouldn't be bad either.

I'd love to be on the ferry between England and Norway on that challenge. I would've left James and Richard with the show girls so I could go to the casino and gamble and drink.

The cool thing would be (although very unlikely, given my luck), if I won enough money to buy a high powered, high speed, very well built yatch. That way, we could win the race the rest of the way to Oslo. Then we'd have to find out how far the dock would be from the hotel they were supposed to meet at. *fantasy ending*

I would have loved to have crossed the Channel with them If I had the technical knowledge which I don't then I would have loved to be in the pit crew for the 24hour race too. I'm not sure if it counts, but the reliant rocket would have been the best thing have been part of ... ... ... ... ... ... ... in the world!! ;D

Oh I would like to have done the 24 hour race with them too.........
And ending up in St Tropez with James and Richard would have been good - no way I would have gone in that boat though, I have had enough bad boat experiences lol

So many challenges and films. I like the sound of the new ones. Hopefully the over scripting will have been reduced slightly.

Polar Challenge (still)
and then the race to Oslo (Hammonds dead!), or possibly either of the Toyboata episodes for me!

Botswana was my favorite. I can watch it over and over. Next the rainforest. I could have slept in the tent with him. Trust me they would not have unzipped that tent until I was ready!

I'd have loved to have been part of Polar because a) I hate the heat and b) it just looked like a real challenge. Also, the boys reached the pole on my birthday, which would have been a pretty good present. Mind you, I'd have overcome my dislike of heat to do Botswana (then again, it didn't look very humid, and that's the bit I really struggle with - no Vietnam or Bolivia for me ) because it was so staggeringly beautiful, and because I wouldn't have minded driving along in the Beetle, given that it never needed to be lightened and it never went wrong (allegedly). Challenges - ooh, so many! I'd have gladly taken part in the BL challenge, though not in my car because my car is just on the cusp of BMC/BL. I'd have gone for an Austin All-Aggro, or if Austin wasn't allowed because they already had the Princess, a Morris Marina (it was pre-Careless Air, after all). And I'd have LOVED to have done the RWD ice rally challenge. Winter weather again!

Race to Edinburgh. Let me ride Tornado. I wouldn't have minded if I had to feed her.
Sitting in the Jag with James would have been fun too.
(and yes, when I was in Edinburgh last Sept., I did push my way into the Balmoral Hotel bar and explain to the confused staff that I was a Top Gear fan..)

Agreed on the Edinburgh run, that was great fun (well, not for Jeremy or Richard, obviously). A brilliant race though, because of the vastly different forms of transport.
The Jag was absolutely fabulous, a beautiful example of the breed, and the roads were splendid too. (Am I also allowed to say that James was looking particularly lush that day?)
