That is one of my particular favourites, made all the more beautiful by the raindrops on it. I love these too. I notice yesterday one of the bunches had a green one on it like they where not all ripe yet i thought that was a nice touch.

I love the green strawberries - as you say, they look very realistic like that. Goodness knows my strawbs seemed to ripen one at a time

The attention to detail in James' garden is incredible.

Just got back from Chelsea - lots of sun, but no James. I kept popping back to 'paradise' but he was probably fast asleep at home (if he's got any sense!) - when he was filmed on Sunday the garden looked far from finished and I suspect they worked into the night. I have to say, his garden was immensely popular. Apart from a couple of stuffed shirts, the vast majority really liked it and appreciated the amount of effort that had gone into it. It made such a change from everything else that it really caused quite a stir. In short, it made people smile. It certainly made me smile - I really wanted to nick a strawberry, but I didn't want to get arrested.
The gold medal was on display - I thought that was a lovely touch by the RHS.
There was such a variety of flowers and veg and lovely touches like snails and ladybirds. Even the grass was made of plasticine. There were vines - with grapes on (of course!) and even the eponymous water feature - it was a hoot!
I took lots of photos, but it could take ages before I manage to download them. These days I barely get time to look at the computer before I get thrown off by the offspring. And I've not yet mastered the art of downloading from the camera either......yes, I know, I really should join the 21st century shouldn't I?
I didn't see James but I did see Chris Beardshaw (rubs hands on upper thighs like Vic Reeves - adultery adultery!)
If anyone else goes, I hope you get to see him.

I'm glad that it sounds like you've had a wonderful day.
Apparently, the TG3 have been spotted filming on the Isles of Scilly today - no rest for the wicked! (I'm off to bed now ;D)

Even the grass was made of plasticine. *nods* It certainly was ;D My knuckles are still complaining about it! I'm glad you liked it. I'm looking forward to seeing it on Friday - haven't seen the whole thing put together yet.

He looks so happy there, as well he should be. I'm glad you were able to visit, Crumbs. I agree with Lew. That would go great. I love that one.

Weirdly, lots of REAL bees were visiting the garden today and landing on the flowers... And then flying off with what I would imagine is the bee equivalent of walking three miles only to find out the pub's run out of beer...

Perhaps they were plasticine bees taking plasticine pollen to make plasticine honey......... ;D Just shows you how lifelike those flowers are.

*gigglefit* Poor confused bees! But it goes to show you - if you can fool a bee into thinking a fakey flower is real, then you've done a good job!
