Oooh goody one on Xmas day. I shall have to use my dad's PC then as I can't miss that. That will then mean I can lock myself away and not see my family. Bliss. ;D

Round here we tend to get the RAF fly boys in their jets, screaming over Morecambe Bay at a trillion miles an hour. I love them fly boys It's 'a uniform, man in a big machine' thing ;D

Oh that sounds good Inky. I love planes going over the house. Concorde used to go right over the roof here - I loved it, really miss it. I like the sound of a big engine.

the scariest time I had was when the G8 summit was in Scotland, I was driving along the street to work when 3 big chinooks (not sure of the spelling) came flying into overhead, I could see all the soldiers sitting in them with their guns they were flying that low.

Yeh, those fly boys can rev in my direction anytime they like As for Concorde, I saw her once when she took off from Leeds/Bradford Airport. I was walking the doggies round Yeadon Tarn at about 5pm one autumn evening. Concorde was taking off from that end of the runway and I stood and watched from only about 400yds away as she cranked up the power and then set off. It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and as she went down the runway, you could see the heat in the engines burning bright red. The noise was awesome. It brought a tear to my eye and I'll never forget it. Bloody BA should have let Virgin Branson have her. She'd still be flying now
