I remember watching this the first time it was on, but I wasn't that into James back then - shock horror!  - so I'll definitely rewatch it, and appreciate it fully this time! |

it was good wasnt it. problem is, james is a funny guy but with merton and hislop in the way, he couldnt get much in there! doh!

It evaded me (rather vice-versa, actually) when it was first airing as all that was audible to me was "Alexander Armstrong Guest Host". Dagnabbit, I shall check if this Catch-Up television thingmy has it on, and if not it'll be politely imploring dear trippynet.

Did you notice that when The Archers was mentioned he bounced about a bit in his seat and looked agitated - he obviously had a witty comment to make but wasn't given the opportunity.
Also in the odd one out round, at first he "forgot" that he had been sacked from the magazine! He does have a very selective memory!
I might be mistaken but I thought he also gave himself a promotion from sub editor to production editor. But I could be completely wrong on this.
But his little human failings make him all the more gorgeous as far as I'm concerned!!

Finally got around to watcing it last night. I do vaguely remember bits of the episode, but as that was in my pre-TG life, I probably had no idea who James was, as the introduction "Someone who bought a Panda..." doesn't really give you much of a clue!
