Thanks for the links, MG. It's been 20 years since I've seen Brian, so I almost didn't recognise him at first. That's because I'm so used to seeing him with the golf hat that he worn back then and in the pic Manny put up. I don't think camp, but definately cheesy and very cute grin. But then again, beauty in the beholder's eye and all. *covers head and runs off*

This episode was very funny, I will need to watch it again to see the bits I missed through crying with laughter. I'm really pleased James won ;D although not so pleased with the hug at the end but i'm not bitter or twisted Where was beardy tho' ??

Good choice Liz. ;D Awww. Me thinks Madison has a little crush. If she wants to join the forum she's most welcome. Very entertaining all round tonight, although I missed the very beginning. I liked the dinosaurs.

I LOVE Jezza's ickle weeny car! And I love that new Nissan. Although not as much as I loved Brian Johnson. I honestly don't think anyone will ever beat Jay Kay, but he came pretty damn close - good man (and a good laugh too!)

I really enjoyed this alot. Brian Johnson always has been and always will be my hero. He was fantastic. Richard's co-driver was the only useful one. I had to laugh at the majority of it. I really enjoyed the auction alot too.

This episode was even better than last week's. I loved the dinosaurs in the beginning. Kind of idea that starts life in a pub and is still good the next day. Very well filmed!!
Carla Bruni "having a go" at James. ;D I bet she and her hubby are huge TopGear fans. (I'm a Carla Bruni fan by the way, she has an amazing voice.)
I loved the challenge, there were so many good moments. One of my favourite ones is when Maddy asks James: "Do you like saying different numbers?" I have this image of W. laughing very loudly when she saw this one. ;D

The boy's did look like they were having fun at the auction especially when Jeremy tried to bid for the pink car for James. Poor James i think i read some where he not allowed near the Bristol sales room because of some thing Jeremy said about them.

That's true. They started the bidding for it so high, I felt bad for him too. He did do an article on it in around the end of 2006 in DT (methinks). I think he did great in the car he did end up in though, but I could tell by that poor little face that he really wanted the Bristol instead.

I thought last week was going to be the highlight of the series... I was wrong. This was better!
It had dinosaurs from the Walking With Dinosaurs arena show and I am booking tickets for that as soon as my new bank card arrived. The dinosaurs illustrated an interesting point about the cars they usally go wild for on Top Gear, and Brian Johnson - what a guy! One of the best ever SIARPC. And the rally... I could have watched a whole hour of that. The co-drivers were perfectly chosen, the cars were wonderful (I came very, very close to buying a 1969 Sprite a couple of weeks ago and I'm kicking myself that I didn't now). And Stig flu! ;D
Brilliant. Loved it!

Brian Johnon is God!!!
The auction was classic TG and poor James - wanting the Bristol and then not being able to get it. Loved the rally as well especially as I have now fully retracted my claws after the "hair touching" inicedent!

Wow! Best of the series so far- loved everything. I'll get it a nine only because I wish the auction and rally were one big special.
