Fantastic, Melly! Lizzy did a wonderful job!! They are adorable. There's nothing quite like a mass of kittens!
And you are not crazy, ladylurker. The smell of a kitten is wonderful. Even though my guys are going to be 9 years old in a couple weeks, once in a while, I'll find a patch of their fur that has 'kitten smell' on it! It's like finding a treasure! ;D ;D

Huh. I've never heard of "kitten smell" before. I wonder if certain animals emit pheromone-like smells that make them attractive to certain people. I love little bird smell, but most other people have no clue what I'm talking about. They smell kind of like clean laundry that's been out in the sun and fresh air all day.

I like puppy tummies and doggie feet. My husband says both of those literally small like sh..well, you can imagine. My daughter agrees with me but my boy agrees with his father. I'm guessing it's something sex linked. Something maternal perhaps. My daughter just added she likes the smell of ponies. I expected her to say they smelled like fresh hay but she said old french fries.

When Lizzy was little, she made a hole in the sofa, underneath it so you can't see it. Well, she took 1 kitten and dropped it in that hole and now she is back with the others. What should i do ? That kitten is still in my sofa.

Sounds dangerous, what if someone sits on the sofa? Is it possible to get the kitten out? Anyway, I absolutely think you should try to stop her bringing any other kittens in there. Is it possible to plug up the hole in any way?
But: There might be a reason why she does this. I imagine the kittens are getting a lot of attention. Just look at the reaction they got here, and we're not even there! ;D And being about to move soon probably adds to the fuss. Maybe Lizzy needs more peace and quiet for her and the kittens, and time to adjust? You could try finding a place for them where she can be left alone more, but where you are still able to keep an eye on them. A quiet corner of your bedroom, perhaps?
Edit: I read your post again. Are you saying she dropped a kitten there, and left it? That sounds weird. Is it possible to reach it? If she doesn't fetch it herself very soon, I think you need to get it out somehow, it needs milk and warmth from its mum. (What I said about needing peace and quiet could still factor into it, though.)

When i came home, from bringing my son to school, there were 2 kittens in the sofa. So i took them out, what was not easy, and put them back to her. She loves them cause she started to clean them. Now i put them all in the kitchen. I have a big kitchen but without things where she can drop them. She was standing on the door, again with 1 kitten. Now i'm gonna look... Ok,they are still with her and drinking. I'm gonna ask my husband to do something about the sofa. Although we bought a new one for in the new house,i can't wait for that, can i.

Oh and,we look a lot at the kittens but we don't touch them that often. I we told our son too not to do that. But we do cuddle Lizzy when she comes to us,wich she likes so really,i have no idea why she does it.

It's great that you teach your son how to handle (or rather not handle ) the kittens, too many people don't know or just don't care what this does to their mum. However, I was not just thinking about whether they were being touched and/or handled. I was also thinking about the general level of activity around them. I don't know what your house is like, but a kitchen is often a busy room where there's a lot of things happening. That's why I suggested the bedroom, where there's (usually ;D) a lot less going on. I realise this might not be possible, though, but it could be worth considering. Anyway, they are lucky to have such a caring and considerate family! I just hate it when parents let their kids treat pets like toys.

The bedroom is not an option because we found that not a place for a cat. Yesterday she was here in de living room and i was home 'till 1 and than my husband and son came home around 5:30. So she had the place for herself (and the babies) Today also,my son and husband aren't here and i am leaving around 1. So i really don't think that it's busy around here. And we can shut the door between the kitchen and living room. Also, one of the reasons why we wont let her in our bedroom is because she's losing a lot of hair. A lot !!! Normally i clean my floor every day, but i haven't done it since the kittens are here. It makes too much noise.
So i was in the kitchen, cooking, and she came to me. She followed me everywhere, crying and she even gave me a kitten :s I was so worried so i called our vet. I explained everything and he said that i don't have to worry. She's just a bit shocked because she's a mom for the first time and doesn't always know what to do. And Lizzy is a mommy's girl so he said it's normal that she comes to me all the time. I'm glad i called.
I also hate it when parents don't look out for there children when they are playing with the pets. But here we found that very important.

Every cat should have a "mum" "grandmother" as thoughtful as you. Good idea calling the vet! He knows a lot more about these things than me, that's for sure. Sounds like everything's normal then, and you can relax. She gave you a kitten? If that's not a sign of complete and utter trust, I don't know what is. Being a cat owner - you're obviously doing it right. (And don't worry about mistakes, everything you write is perfectly understandable. And for a non-native speaker I'd say you're doing very well. But then I'm one myself, so I don't catch everything.)

Mother cats are peculiar creatures. Something may have spooked her in the original nest and now she doesn't feel secure there. They like quiet, enclosed spaces, so maybe the hole in the sofa was her idea of one of those. Perhape you can find her a large cardboard box or something which you can cut the front out of to make her a little cave, or offer her the bottom of a closet or something.
After about a month or so, she will start to relax a bit and leave the kittens to play on their own. She has quite a job with seven kittens to raise and may need some support. She may not be able to feed them all enough, so you should probably check their weight every now and again (kitchen scales will do), to make sure they're gaining and not losing.

Nothing like a household of kittens to liven up the place. The mom is a tuxedo and seven kits, boy is she going to be sore. You may want to buy some kitten milk just in case!

Well i talked with my husband about it and yes,i think it's better to buy some milk for them. Because the last one is very tiny, since it was born, but today i saw that the others were drinking and that tiny one not. It started to cry so i'm gonna do my best to give it some milk and hope he or she will grow like the rest.

If you're going to supplement their milk, speak to your vet and get some kitten formula for them. If the same kitten can't reach to feed every time, then it may need some help. Sometimes one gets squeezed out, but finds a way back in. They're pretty feisty little creatures.

I agree with amie8. Confer with your vet about kitten formula. It's certainly not a bad idea to give the littlest one a helping hand.
