Best Pies in Sydney - go to Harry's Cafe de Wheels in Wooloomooloo. Seriously. I can only do Harry's if it is 2am and I am drunk... But yes, not a bad nomination.

Not sure if this is good news or not. Last year I comforted myself with the knowledge that James wouldn't be there anyway so if I didn't make it it didn't matter. Now what am I gonna do? Awww sorry Doofs...well you got just under 5 months to decide What can you sell? ;D You got a spare organ?

Provide selection of fine aussie beers to prove all aussie beer does not taste like crap. yes this is ESSENTIAL. I'm voting for a 6-pack taste tester of nice beer ie most things by James Squire or Matilda Bay Breweries, and two or three I can't remember that have made very good brews using wine as well. Pepperjack, I think, do a BRILLIANT one.

Surely wouldn't want to subject him to the horror that is servo pies and assorted foodstuffs.. because there's always the BP across the road from Harry's.

But I'll be the size of a house! *wails* Or, in fact, giving birth. How did you come by this piece of info Eclair? ;D See, that was my dilemma in Feb this year. And now that I have the bubba, I cannot go because I am a RESPONSIBLE (read: boring) PARENT. James et al, when will you realise Australia is stupendously vast and simply requires more shows in other states. At the very least a visit to Brisbane is required. Perhaps next time, eh?

AHHHHHHHHHHH!! I'm so fricking excited now!! AHHHHH! *runs around like a headless chook* I was lucky to get diamond tickets in TGA Mag Pre sale, although I wish I could've gotten extras if this was to happen Oh well. Still, I'll take lots of pictures (if I can) and can give you in depth report of this Massive May Event.

*wonders if she can extend her holiday for another 6 weeks...*
That pie place in Wooloomooloo looks fab, I might have to try that out, especially as we're staying just over the hill in Elizabeth Bay! A friend of mine who was out there years back recommended them as well.
You'll have to tell me where the chocolate place is as well.

Max Brenner - Chocolate by the Bald Man. A bit expensive but it's entirely worth it. I recommend the Italian Hot Chocolate (it's almost like drinking pure melted chocolate), or if it's hot any of their various frappe type things. Or the Souffle. *drool*. I'm hungry just thinking about that now..

Go to a Lindt cafe too - there is one on Darling Harbour and in Martin Place, they do the BEST macaroons and iced choc.
Then there is the Guylian Cafe - one near the Opera House on the Harbour and one on George St (been to both) and their choc brownies, hot choc and fondue is nice.
Are you going to Melbourne? If so, go to Koko Black (Royal Arcade off of Bourke St mall) - best choc place in Oz! There is a Lindt cafe there too on Collins St and a Max Brenner at Melbourne Central......
Ok I should stop - I sound like an addict lol

All totally yummy but if you have all three you might need the vomit smiley

I can see me coming back about 6 sizes bigger! Yes, we'll be staying outside Melbourne for a week, so I guess we can find Koko Black. ;D
Martin Place and The Opera House are just about walking distance from where we're staying on Sydney (Elizabeth Bay) so we go into town via the Pie place, then get pudding at one of the chocolate cafes. That'll work!

Yep there's a Max Brenner at least, not 5 mins from Martin Place - you'd go right past it if you're walking from there to the Opera House ( go down George St!)
