Actually, I thought that was the least distasteful of the culinary treats Ramsay served up! The snake whiskey looked well dodgy, and I think I would have drawn the line at the rotted shark Then again, I ate pig's intestines last night!!!

I was going to go to Richards original 5 o clock show but my boyfirnd couldnt get there on time after work & I had no one to go with. I will admit though I didnt know who Richard Hammond was at the time. I still have the original flyer which was given to me outside the beeb when I queued to go into Davin's chat show. Alas the new show was filmed today & I never received any tickets but the signed James pic made up for it.

Here goes, Richard was wearing a shiny grey suit (tight trousers ) with an orange shirt which matched the lining of the suit. all the way through a clip of a chimp washing a cat came up (cwc) it was funny! First there was a pit stop at the beginning where he was helped on with his jacket and hair fiddled with by men in red boiler suits. He then went on to say the best part about having his own show was that anything he wanted could appear coffee 'bing appeared' and a new flashy mobile 'bing'. He was in his 'den' and had a webcam hooked up to outside and 'Jeremy' had escaped and mIndy got him back in. He went on about celeb endorsed products bring in Kylie's new bedding range, however he brought out a bottom shaped pillow, and then said the problem with the products that they could go a step too far and brought out some piles cream . He went on to make his own perfume 2 stroke oil, beer, Hammond sweat (ewww) and dog pee. He then tipped some on a chap (plant) and sprayed more on him. He went to Hawaii up the tallest mountain to look at a telescope and said it was very cold, there were pictures he looked cold! (cwc) Joanna Lumley was the first guest, and they talked about her being Perdy and the hair he put on a blonde wig which suited him (but he shouldn't go there), stunts, modelling and how to be finished ie walk and talk proper. He then did some walking with a book on his head and with red high heel stilletos on . Bring out Ed Byrne (really sweet guy) talked about his hair, showed clips of Blind Date, very embarassing HE was very funny, except he mentioned Richard's height. On the hair style side they brought up a picture of James (yay). (CWC) Hammond Challenge skipping with two ropes, he did this versuses a studio audience member with his hands in pockets ;D Sarah Beany came on talked about building and something else showed clips. Lady came on who created Zippy and George (that part was odd as it was at the end of and beginning of a ad break) At the end there was some bike acrobatics and Richard road off and 'did' his own stunts and had crash. He had a house band call The Crash It was good, he was sat al la Graham Norton with a computer monitor and the guests sat on a sofa. The den had loads of bits in it and a chrome bull head plack thing. He need's to hone his interviewing skills and if it were to go ahead should be a short run of a month or six weeks no more. As it will keep it fresh. It was also heavily scripted however not surprising really! A warm up Kiwi comedian was alright but was luke warm! There endth my report! I can answer questions

Stilettoes?! Maybe I'm odd, but I'm finding that thought... intriguing ;D
Sounds like fun, even if Richard does need to brush up a bit on his interview technique!

I think it would be better on Tv than in a studio. The high heels were very good 'thud', although he nearly twisted his ankle. He had on his cowboy boots

I bet it was good fun. I'd have loved to have been there. What was the atmosphere like, bet the audiance was fillied with nubile young females?

Finally had the nonce to check through previous posts on this thread so yep it's a not to be aired pilot. I adore Richard, but I must confess I didn.t like the 5.00 o'clock show. Plus Mel whats her name was crap, but basically the format was rubbish. Sorry.

It was never aired in the Granada area so I don't know what I missed. I'm not too enamoured by Richard and Judy and the sooner their off air the better.
I hope we get to see Richard's new show.

My head is full of very VERY disturbing images now. All I can picture is Richard in heels AND the Purdey wig being all 'excited' by Joanna Lumley's voice! Ahem... I have to say I probably didn't get as much out of last night as most people (well, since I don't fancy Richard...) but Ed Byrne made up for it (EDBYRNESWOONTHUDPHWAOOOOARR!!!!) I think I actually said 'oooh, Ed Byrne I love him!' a bit too high-pitched when he was announced... I hated the Five O Clock Show, and I did think last night's show was a bit better, and I can totally see how that kind of format would work in the Channel 4 5pm slot. I'll miss Richard and Judy though!! It was great to meet maygrail and xjsarah. I'm sorry if I was quite loud and shouty - I'm half-deaf and if I'm in a noisy environment and I can't hear I tend to shout in the hope that other people will shout back!!! Probably should have warned you in advance...! xjsarah I'm SO sorry we didn't have a spare ticket for you!! I didn't realise Estelle had found a replacement for Hels. Maybe next time?

That's OK - I never expected to see the show, anyway. I came along simply to meet MG, and you, and anyone else who was there. It was great to meet you! ;D I didn't think you were loud or shouty! I sometimes find it difficult to hear people in noisy environments, too, so I know what you mean.
