Greetings fellow Mayhemers! ;D Glad to be among good company. First time poster, long time lurker. A good friend of mine from Reno, NV got me into TG several years ago and have been an avid follower since the beginning of the year. My good friend from Nevada is a Clarksonista and my best friend is a hamster fan. I've promised both of them that if all 3 of us managed to go to a taping of TG, I will wear a metal colander on my head and a bright stripey jumper (or a bright floral one; I haven't decided which one yet). At least I'll be easy to pick out in a crowd. I was living in Reno at the time the TG3 came though to the Salt flats. To this day, I am STILL kicking myself for not running up to Circus Circus where James was trying to win a bike and say hi. Also, for those of you not familiar with the casinos in Reno, Circus Circus is the worst casino there. Honest to God, it is. It's dirty, seedy people are there all the time, it's unsafe and just...icky, icky (when I lived there, it wasn't that great; it may have improved since I left). No clue why James chose that particular casino. And, Reno cops are really horrible and mean to people. I could have shown James much better places to waste his money in Reno. A little about me...30 y/o massage student in California, and graduated with a B.A. in English (haven't done much with it, except write comics, short stories and the like...my siggy is part of something I wrote, btw). I also draw on occasion. When I first watched TG, I will have to admit Richard was my favorite, but James easily won me over (with lines like "alright constable, but be gentle", and "you have to start with hello", I can't help but be at least curious). There is something about brilliant, meticulous, self-effacing men that I find really attractive. ::swoon:: Ahem, anyway..

Decided to de-cloak myself - Next Generation fan here as well as having a liking for James and his legs Just managed to get some tickets for Top Gear Live, though not where I wanted to sit, but that is my own fault for leaving it too late, was awaiting other halves decision, should have gone on my own..... so London beware of the de-cloaked Next Generation fan

Hello brumbrum. Nice meeting a STTNG fan. Hello slfriend, nice to meet you too. Which episode is your favourite? ;D Mine is the episode where Lwaxana Troi is getting married again, and I think that Jean Luc Picard is somewhat rather tasty too.

Thank you all for the wonderful greetings! I already feel at home among the madness (after all, who actually wants to be normal anyway?). ;D Some day, DMC, I will visit London again and track down the TG racetrack (however, my sense of direction is worse than James's; I get lost in my own hometown and that has not even half a million people) or at the very minimum, the BBC. The handful of times I have been to London, it was more of a historic vacation, mostly spent running through art galleries, museums and the like. I still haven't done everything I've wanted to do in England. But someday, I will.

Ahhh yes Gates McFadden, lovely lady from how she appears on TV, Marina Sirtis is another one of my likes on STNG and yes I too think Data is brilliant, have a slight thing for Riker as well, though in the early days of STNG. Must get to one of these conventions one of these days. Thanks for the welcome, it's good to be here.

New member here. I started watching TG as a motorsports enthusiast and continued watching after becoming addicted to all the testosterone. I am madly, head-over-heels in love with James (although I confess to occasionally having evil thoughts about the Dark Side), partly because his description of the fizzy feeling is the only thing I’ve ever heard that comes close to how I feel about certain cars.
Two pressing questions… Did James really get Jeremy’s name tattooed on his, errr, lower back? When they were talking about their tats, Jeremy said his really hurt, which made them sound real rather than just drawings. And why don’t men in the UK wear T-shirts or other short-sleeved shirts more often? You almost never see these guys’ sexy forearms.
After I finish reading the Clone thread, I'll have to take up permanent residence in your Naughty Corner. Sigh. I guess I’ll be in good company.
