to celebrate the end of our Nordic Walking course, we had the best Eggs Benedict for a long time! It came with a lovely thick slice of ham and a layer of spinach, so I suppose it was really Eggs Floradict!

I do drink that sometimes, usually from one of the American wineries just because that's what is most available here. Any other recs? I really need to take a wine-tasting course...wonder if James gives private lessons? Just about any NZ sauvignon blanc is a treat. I also like pinot gris/grigio. Tried lots of California wines while in the US and I have to say I was very impressed. Also could not believe how cheap Australian wines were there. Cheaper than at home! In that case, I need to stock up. ;D There's some Australian wines I really love.

You won't regret it Fizzy, although everyone's tastes are different. I particularly like Oyster Bay (it's a brand of NZ sav blanc and I saw it was readily available over there).

I will definitely give it a shot. I can find my way around American and French wines, but I'm clueless about NZ, S Africa, S America, etc, so I really appreciate this kind of suggestion.

The Chicken Big Mac has been here in the Middle East for a few months now and I have to say they are way better than the beef kind! I guess MacDonalds has different things for different regions. Like for instant we have a thing here across the Middle East in MacDonalds called a MacArabia which is a chicken salad wrap (quite yummy!).

Yes, they vary the menu by region. We have "Mexican items" on the menu here that some regions don't carry. Some of my favorite weird items carried in different markets are the McAloo Tiki in India and Spam items in Hawaii. EDIT: forgot to add, personal favorite seasonal item, the McRib * drool*. Most hated, the McGrits offered in the southern US.

I haven't had anything decent to eat in three days. I've had the trots AND have been throwing up since thursday, so I could safely say I've got a stomach bug.
I am trying now with some banana's and biscuits together with lots of tea and I am improving, but I cannot say I am really that well.
I miss eating real food. I miss eating, period.
Thank you for reading this disgusting story, by the way ;D

Don't get me started on Hagen Das. I steer clear of that stuff. They put something addictive in that ice cream and I always end up eating more of it than I plan to. Damn tasty, though. ;D So sorry to hear you're sick, Mayb. There has been something going around here for at least a month; I was sick a few weeks ago with the stomach flu and it looked like I was at Death's door. I couldn't even keep water down and not even chicken noodle soup looked appetizing.. On the flip-side, I lost 5 lbs, which I ended up gaining back 2 weeks later anyway.

Ow, don't get me started on Haagen Daz as well! I luuuurve the stuff! But I stay away from it as it is, as ElerVim says - quite addictive. I can never have "just a sthingy-full", I NEED the whole jar. So I never buy it, simple as that. I think they put drugs in it, whahahaha. Little buggers.
That sounds terrible ElerVim! At least I can say I can hold down water and tea now, it is just that my appetite has gone and my stomach still hurts from all that throwing up (feels like I have been working out big time). I have lost a bunch of weight too, but I am OK with that, as I still needed to lose a few pregnancy pounds and I know I will gain most of the weight back once I am back on my feet again.
I really like sushi.... and salads with lots of feta cheese in it. yummy!
