Had another look. Still no likee James' short locks. Actually, I'm quite surprised at myself - I'm thinking I'm being a bit fickle. I shall watch (please God - I'm feeling a bit rough with hurtee throat and ear today) on Tuesday - maybe seeing him in action with it will change my mind. I was definitely a mid hair fan - so another couple of inches would do nicely........oooo errr we'd all like a couple of more inches Crumbs ;D

I've had a pair of those nailclippers for years! They're actually quite good, once you work out how to open them.

Andy has written a short piece about the Middle East trip, which is included in the series 16 preview in the latest issue of TG Magazine. According to the first paragraph, Richard wasn't the only one to have intestinal problems:- A lot of people often like to know what goes on behind closed doors on Top Gear shoots, but trust me, you're better off in the dark on this one. Although a lot did go on behind closed doors, those doors mostly belonged to lavatories. Kiff McManus - Soundman, Chris Hale - Producer, Richard Hammond - Presenter, Jay Kennedy - Camera Technician, Andy Wilman - Executive Producer, Hannah Young - Researcher...the list of The Fallen, to the trots, goes on and on. The attacks would come at any time, without warning, and when I say without warning, Hammond and I never even made it through our hotel-room doors on a couple of occasions. As a hilarious conversation piece later on, weirdly, this isn't a bird-puller.The joys of travelling.... ;D For anyone who doesn't get/hasn't got yet the TG mag, some scans of this article and the S16 preview can be found on my photobucket here.[/color] Password topgear

Go to View and select Page Source. Scroll to halfway down the page and you will see the 4 jpg. files. Click on the one labeled 2. It will open it up full page. Then, save it as whatever. Type in the file type manually in the blank where you name the file. It worked for me.

Oh love that jumper Ok spoiler time.... but not much ;D I went to the filming yesterday, the 3 were on top form and boy can Jezza swear, i though i was bad ;D I don't think i'm letting the cat out of the bag by saying its the 'Ashes' this week, very funny. The news... well I love the news, it had me in histerics (James too) it'll be interesting to see what they show of it... tattoos on wedding veg permitting ;D SIARPC was very good and did very well as it was pi**ing down During the filiming the helicopter arrived to take them to the NTA's much to Jezza's dismay as he had run out of underpants and was hoping to get home for the first time in 10 days ;D It was a great day to say i thoroughly enjoyed would be an understatement. I'll put a couple of pics on the members photo thread. I could say a lot more but I don't want to spoil it too much for you all but feel free to PM for the full essay!!! ;D

Wanted to put up something about my trip to Dunsfold on Wednesday as I thought people might be interested. I'll try not to put too much detail, though it's likely to be a bit long anyway. If anyone wants any more please PM me! There are no actual spoilers of the episode per se, but this seems to be the best place to put it. Jacqui was with me which was brilliant as she was there the week before and knew what time to arrive, where to wait to be taken down to the recording, where to stand when we got there etc. Because of this insider information, although we got very cold waiting in the wind by the carpark at least we were at the front when we were taken on the route march to the hangar. This meant that we were right on the edge of the circular stage where they do the introduction, the news and SIARPC. There was loud rock music playing to get us in the mood, mainly stuff related to driving, but it wasn't loud enough for my liking! The floor manager, then the producer Brian came onto the stage to explain what would be going on. I didn't mention that when we arrived, after we'd got our wristbands we were given a quiz to fill in - Jacqui handed hers in while I was buying a Captain Slow T-shirt and the producer announced the winner of the "Are you a Top Gear anorak?" quiz and yes, it was Jacqui! She had to go onstage to receive a copy of the series 10 DVD signed by all the guys. Then they ran a short outtakes video of some extreme cockups with masses of foul language and screamingly funny, at which point I realised that Jeremy had moved in and was standing right behind Jacqui. He then went on stage for the intro then brought on Richard and James, who stood next to me, facing me for a few seconds while he waited to go on (breathe, breathe!) All the banter between them was rude, sweary and devastatingly funny and the audience was continually in hysterics. And yes, if anyone has wondered, the banter is genuine, they bounce ideas off each other, obviously share the same sense of humour and are extremely quick-witted. No secret it was the Albania segments, which we watched on monitors. The news followed the first segment, and the chat beforehand was probably funnier than the news itself, and certainly unbroadcastable! Jonathan Ross is the SIARPC, and if they get anything they can show without bleeping I'll be astonished but my God the whole interview (long) was hysterical! We were told there would be an interval for tea/coffee etc and the guys would 'probably' be out for chat and photos. Clarkson and Hammond did, but James never materialised, which was a shame as I would have liked a pic with him if possible but never mind. In the second part, which was shorter, we tried to get positioned near the cars they would obviously be using in the last link, but we were moved sideways so couldn't see too much. Andy Wilman was in the audience for that, standing just as he does in so many photos I've seen of him. We'd been advised that we would be unlikely to see the guys after the end of recording, but very soon later, while people were still around, we could see someone moving in the dark carpark next to their portakabin and realised it was James. He put his stuff in the Ferrari and drove past us, clearly wanting to make a quick getaway. We actually thought he looked a bit tired and seemed less lively that he has in recent weeks. He looked like a man who just wanted to go home. The guys were all extremely professional, there were very few retakes; the whole thing, including how the audience is treated went like clockwork. They run a tight, clever but funny ship and I really hope that at some time in the future I will get chance to go again. Hope you folks have found this interesting, sorry it was a bit long! My photos: Best of Clarkson Second best of Clarkson Best of Hammond Next best of hammond (God, he's photogenic, but by gum, he's really tiny) Best photo of James (the tiny pinpoints of light on the left are the headlights of the Ferrari!) Just to prove I was there - the funny stance is because after nearly four hours I was still bl**dy freezing!
