Drag out the barber and shot at dawn. I can't say I like it much  ( it could grow on me ;D :  maybe that's why he was a miserable old git at the filming, he looked in the mirror ;D  The only thing I do like is the brolly I have the same one, only with a frill about the edge.....very Cath Kidston ;D |

Oh no!!! His hair! I loved his hair......(ickle sob....) James - sack your barber. Can I just sob along with you?  I was thrilled to hear that Richard has finally had his hair cut but why did he have to drag James with him? Eye for an eye? *whiny Clarkson voice* Jaaaaames what have you done? Having said that, he looks very happy and generally lovely in the rehearsal pics.  A bit too... decent? Sensible? Normal? Anyone able to provide the word I'm looking for? |

At the risk of getting things thrown at me.... It's not that bad i don't think the angle of the pics do him/it (the hair) justice. he's got the benefit of the doubt.... he'd still have me at "Hello" long or short.... the hair that is ;D |

I expected to really dislike his new hairstyle - I was critical enough when he went to what's now being referred to as the Midhair phase, though I grew to like that in time. I looked at the new pics with some trepidation but by the time I got to this point  I was already starting to get used to it. Yes, I prefer it longer and I'll be interested to see whether he keeps it this short, but I guess if you like the way someone looks you can cope with variations that happen over time. |

I loved the longer tresses. I got used to the midhair phase and actually grew to love it! This new do may take a little longer to warm to. He looks absolutely adorable though. That smile is back!
Mind you, by the time I've gotten used to his shorter hair, it will probably have grown back out. As of right now, I'm hoping he lets it grow out and doesn't chop it off again.
