Well, I thought they all looked lovely (and Richard didn't look like Adam Ant at all, no matter what Jeremy said).

Is the port-a-loo one of the cardboard things Jezza fell through? Good luck, girls! I'm going to try really hard to like the new hair (you may have already seen me being 'positive' ~gleam~!!). The only thing is that, as well as suiting him and expressing personality, the longer hair, at various lengths, made James that bit 'different'. It is difficult to explain, but I'm sure I'll get over it - might be something to do with the fact that I'm often described as being a bit Bohemian, and I sensed a kindred spirit! And I'll keep posting this till it sinks in!

*trying to think positive thoughts* Not really a fan of the new 'do It's okayyy but his longer hairstyles were like a trademark. James, "I demand an apology!" ;D

At the risk of having rotten tomatoes thrown at me..... I really like it and I think the new hair do makes James look even sexier and yummer.....*ducks down behind sofa* Is there any room for me behind the sofa as well? Because I rather like that haircut. Actually, I think it looks rather good. *hides* Remember when Richard first started growing his hair three years ago? As I recall, no-one really liked it at first, but then people seemed to change their minds as they got used to it. I bet this will be no different!

Hide as long as you like, and I never liked Rich's hair, it's their hair and totally up to them what they do with it, dye it pink for all I care. Personally all he needs now is a pipe and slippers ;D I'm sure Mr May really couldn't an arse what we think, still. Right this is a spoilers thread, no doubt it'll be discussed in most finer detail

A (male) friend of mine once explained man-friendships to me. He said, (I paraphrase) "You're always rejecting each other. You don't want to show any unalloyed affection or else it seems unmanly. When you see two men hug, they always pound each other on the back as hard as they can, three times. If translated, those three hits would stand for I'M. NOT. GAY."

So what is he going to do with the rollers from now on Did you know that James May puts curlers in (a la Hilda Ogden) before his TV appearances? I met someone who he knows quite well professionally and she told me! (From the BBC Points of View forum re: the TG specials thread)

someone will be saying he uses straighteners next! Nah, that's Richard! Now now. Richard's hair is looking better than it has in years. Let's not scare him away from all personal grooming by implying he spends every Saturday in the salon. Hamsters are easily discouraged, you know. Edit: That being said, his leather jacket just SCREAMS "I'm still hip and youthful, damnit!"

But he does use them - or more to the point has them used on him. The make-up girl attacked him with them once at a previous filming! But I agree, he looks absolutely stunning now.

Had another look. Still no likee James' short locks. Actually, I'm quite surprised at myself - I'm thinking I'm being a bit fickle. I shall watch (please God - I'm feeling a bit rough with hurtee throat and ear today) on Tuesday - maybe seeing him in action with it will change my mind. I was definitely a mid hair fan - so another couple of inches would do nicely........oooo errr

Not a spoiler, but I don't know where else to post this. According to the BBC schedules, the episode on the 21st is actually episode 7 of series 15. This is backed up by the url of the rehearsal pics, which has series-15 as part of it. The schedules for the 26th Dec have the episode listed as series16 episode 1.
