I hope to goodness we do see it. It may bee that the item will go out on both British and Australian TG - that's what I'm hoping anyway.

Does anyone know if thempire.bz carries Australian television programs? It's the sister to thebox.bz. If so, then perhaps we could get a download of the Ashes! ;D ;D

It sounds brilliant! ;D I really hope it'll be screened over here at some point, or made available online. Either way, I'd love to see it.

Saw the ad for this today (without sound), it looks quite good. I have never seen a episode of TG Australia.

That looks hysterically funny, especially with the upside-down Stig and the rhino.

It was much better than I was expecting. Quite funny. Loved Hammond's scoring and the working mans drag race 'wow, I don't remember it being this fast'. Who knew James is such a amazing rally driver (and 20kg lighter)

The episode wasn't too bad. They should have shown the first 5 minutes and the last 50 minutes. Get rid of the middle bit.
I must admit that it was better than the German episode.

Brilliant. Thank you for posting nobody. I particularly liked the sheep penning exercise. James was wearing his honourary doctorate shirt. In essence the challenges were all the same, or similar, to ones we have seen before. I still enjoyed it though.

That was so much fun! I think perhaps they might have got a good balance this time around. I want one of those electric Peels, they were hilarious. Upside-down Stig! Steve's chicken wire roof! The van! Hammond's incredibly tight white t-shirt! I had doubts that they could pull this off with the change of network, but I think they've got promise ;D

lol Wyvern! "Hammond's incredibly tight white t-shirt!" Is it bad that that comment has further peaked my interest in seeing the Ashes special? I know what I'll be watching tonight!

I thought it was great! I like Shane (one of the new TG Aus presenter), I think he's hilarious, however they were all just warming up, I'm sure once they get more experience and confidence presenting, they'll loosen up a bit more and Shane's comedic talents will be more at the fore . Plenty of Bruce and Nigel jokes and aussie swearing ;D I'm glad some kind soul put it on YouTube, hope it stays up for everyone to get a chance to watch it! ;D

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I'm glad to see the three hosts have potential. On the other, I'm so tired of the 'cheating' and staged events and contrived helplessness -- I want to see our three going out there and showing their competence, not their ability to mug for the camera.
Still, the sheep-herding segment was funny, with the quick intercuts between "They're Australian, they're born knowing how to do this" and "I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing!"

I completely agree with you, Chariset. There was a bit too much of the staged silliness, but for the most part I enjoyed the show.

It went on a bit didn't it! I liked the comment by the fat Bruce about the baboons coming over the hill like a scene out of Shaun Of The Dead. Thanks for the link nobody.

Putting the stagedness aside, I thought it was a fun and entertaining episode. I do see the chemistry between the Aussie Trio and there is something about them that is likable. From the preview, I reckon the third series has got potential.
And Richard looked great in a white t-shirt.
