Hurrah! I've seen both the new ones this afternoon (though I've never seen any of the others, or any of the TV commercials). Good job the roads were quite empty. I might have 'shunted someone up the chuff'.

There is one visible from the train on the approach to Liverpool Street Station - the top half anyway.
Before Christmas, there was one which they'd kindly pasted up at one of the points in my daily journey home where the traffic ground to a halt. Never so happy to be stuck in a traffic jam! It was also opposite the place where I got my winter tyres fitted.
Them: "While you wait, madam?" Me: "Yes, and do take your time..."
Sadly, it was only there for a month.

Cause of indicent - a large james may ;D LOL! That's true. I can hear Clarkson doing the news onTG.... "you know that poster of the girl in her underwear? The one that caused alot of men to crash into the car infront of them?" Richard and James nod. "Well in May a woman did the same thing..." "Whatever rocks your boat, mate, is all I can say..." Richard replies "No, no... she wasn't looking at that poster of the girl. She was looking at him!" Points to James. <Insert "The Look" here> Audience giggle. "James May caused a woman to crash her car in London! The world has gone mad, or that woman has..." ;D ;D ;D

The poster I drive past every day (hooray!) says 'Top Beer'. James looks very handsome I must say. It brightens up the day....but I won't be crashing the coupe!
Ps. Just realised Meimichan has posted the ads earlier (ta Meimichan!)..... the top beer pic is good but the 'Because I'm worth it' tag on the other made me smile (I wonder what L'Oreal will think?!)

This was in the Telegraph today
Fuller, Smith & Turner, the brewer and pub chain, reported surprisingly healthy profits of £31m last year as its hotels, growing export market and supermarket sales offset flatlining profits at its tenanted inns. Group revenue at the London Pride brewer was up 6pc to £241.9m in the 53 weeks to April 3.
An advertising campaign for London Pride, fronted by Top Gear star James May, had been "well-received" by drinkers, they said.

I've bloody done my bit, I know that much. Given the price of beer these days I think I'm probably keeping Fuller's going. Mind you, Mr May's ad campaign has done nothing to change my beer consumption - still can't get past five or six pints in an evening without getting a bit wobbly (and yes, they're usually London Pride; for a commercial ale, it's a cracking pint, especially if you drink it as close to the brewery as possible! Not a great traveller, but then, very few ales are as good after a long journey.)

This was up on my facebook news feed. London Pride: We're changing our Great British Beer Festival stand and want your opinion on which backdrop to use. Take a look at the images of James May showing how Pride is a genuine London beer and 'like' your favourite. The shot with the most likes by 5pm this Friday will be used on the Great British Beer Festival stand. Here are the three new posters: Which one would you vote for?? ;D ;D

I went ahead and 'liked' the third one. And I see you did too.

The first has the sort of precise detail that seems very 'Jamesian', but is perhaps a bit too subtle.
The second is too obvious.
The third is nicely ambiguous. I think it sends out the right message about the beer itself, and would also make quite a lot of women smile, so that's the one I'd vote for - if I was on facebook, that is.

I voted for numbers 2 &3. Two seemed the most likely one for the festival, but 3 is absolutely perfect!

The third one is interesting for those that actually drink A LOT of beer and the second one is.... ironic... hmm, let me see...
