The photography was brilliant! Imagine how pleased they would have been seeing the results after retrieving the cameras! It was very moving, moved me to cuddle my pussy cat and ask her if she would like to be scattered in space, i just got that look in return... you know the one that says what planet are you on mother!!! ;D Oh My !!! I so had to laugh at this!! But I cant, for my brother is still sleeping. I found it so beautiful that it all worked well indeed with the camera's!! I found the making of the lemon squeezer the most interesting of this episode, and so did my brother. Although seeing those balloons with ashes go up so high and to actually see the whole thing.... Was..... Well, ubelievably awesome as well..

Just watched Manlab again. Loved every minute. This series is streets ahead of the first one. ;D
I was wondering if Colin of the lemon squeezer bit was the same Colin that James used to write about in his columns?

I don't think it is the same Colin, at least it didn't look like him. I loved this weeks episode. I found the May 'Spring /Summer collection' interesting, as I found myself thinking, as he flicked through his shirts, 'Yes, he wore that shirt ..... and I recalled the events he had worn them at. I loved the tongue in cheek comment about the stripey rugby shirt - 'I've never worn this.' The whole series has been delightful, it's a pity there is only one episode left. Never mind there is the Christmas episode to look forward to.

This one surpassed last weeks in my opinion. I really enjoyed the helium vs hydrogen segment and the fashion parts too. I thought the chap transfixed with antlers was excellent. I loved James's reaction to him! It really is just a bit of light entertainment but it's just that little bit different and quirky: just like him really. He seems very natural and enthusiastic throughout and much more in his comfort zone.
But he really is starting to show his age - which is fine by me as I'm no spring chicken!

I think he is getting better looking with age! I did love his hair long but I am so loving it with all the grey. And I love the gentle lines around his eyes! I did notice that his belly has grown a little bit but that doesn't bother me; all the better to my way of thinking. He's just looking so great...I think I need to head over to the NC.

I have just caught up with this weeks episode - brilliant! And - I used to do the sand casting thing with the kids at school! Easy peasy - but we didnt have to make the furnace! The space balloon feature was very good indeed! The overalls feature was a bit silly!
9/10!

I was wondering if Colin of the lemon squeezer bit was the same Colin that James used to write about in his columns? No, a different person, I think. I reckon the spanner-losing Colin was in Top Toys, in the bit where they're playing with the toy train set. When I watched it with MOH, he recognised the youngish dark-haired bloke as Colin Goodwin, who writes for Autocar.

Much thanks for the link! I can now catch up. Episode 3 was entertaining from start to finish and featured the best soundtrack. Whoever selects the music deserves much credit. I loved the pet ashes in space best and was transfixed by the video from the stratosphere. My favorite part was the look James gave the camera during the foundry segment just after he instructs Colin to "fire your blowtorch up" the airhole. Yes, it did sound dirty and James seemed to realize it.

Finally had a minute to watch this week's ManLab. And now I see what all the raving about pets' ashes in space was all about. Fantastic choice in music. Somebody give that person a raise. I'm not sure if anyone was asking but I figured out what the 2 pieces of music that were playing while the pets were in space... The first one was by Radical Space - Welcome Home (it was right after James says something to the effect of "the ethereal beauty stops anyone from being a sourpuss"). The second is an instrumental piece: Woob - Wuub. Thank you, Soundhound. Since I usually watch things with CC on and my video player doesn't have that option, SoundHound will have to do for now. And I leave you with these images: ::giggle:: Cutie. ::whimpering:: Tease.

This is a truly triumphant series! I laughed so much, i could barely breathe!
The swiss army bike was sheer genius (love Simmy!) think i'll wait for the MarkII before i employ James to hang my hanging baskets! As for the penalty practice..... you know where to find me for my thoughts on that!!! Rabbits eat denim - who would have thought it!!! The boat...from beginning to end i was crying with laughter i will have to watch it again to see what i missed. ;D
Absolutely brilliant, looking forward to the xmas special.
You have a cracking format now James and Co., don't change a thing! ;D

Well. I can only think of one thing having watched that programme. And I think you all know what that one thing is.
Other than that I enjoyed it. Not as much as last week's but it was still entertaining. He really is a joy in it - blokeish, slightly silly, clever, a bit vulnerable, clever, affable - a proper all rounder (except sport. Bless him)
