Sorry to those who have yet to see it, but I thought it was great and sadly OH did as well. I say that as it has given him ideas, this is the person who decided to make his own gunpowder using household chemicals as a child!

I reset my twitter feed just before 8pm (I'm not on twitter myself, I just set my computer up to collect interesting messages) and I've just checked how it's getting on.
827 messages, and still rising. Think I'll pop in for a look. I might be gone some time........

I want Oz to cook my Christmas dinner, and James to carve the turkey. After dinner the fun and games would begin, starting with the booming Christmas crackers. The episode was wonderful, and I'm so glad he keeps up his friendship with Oz.

When can we start screencapping? I'm surprised no-one's done so yet.
Oh, and a couple from the interwebs.
James May has featured on every programme on BBC2 since 6:50pm. I fully expect to see him playing up front for Man City on MOTD2.
James May has been on two different programs tonight wearing the same shirt. Scruffy sod.

fileserve link: you click on the link, then scroll down to "langsamster download 13 min" then you must write the two words in the window and click "langsamster download" again. on the next site, you have to wait the time running down and click the green button again... thats it...
it works...
the filejungle link is in english...

Usually I'm the vigilante file uploader here, but I haven't found any torrents for this one yet, so thanks.
I won't be able to watch until tomorrow though.
I'm able to download the file vivienne(slowly, but it's downloading). Is that what you meant, or will it not play on your computer?

I'm still smiling - it was an innuendo fest for the NC. Then again it might just be my very bad mind.
Did anyone else think that at one point James was about to dance???

Does anyone know why, when I try to download this file, I get an error message saying "the source file could not be read"?

I'm popping some screencaps into the NC in case some don't want to see them till after they've seen the programme. They can always be moved back into here later.

That was fantastic! Lots of Sim and Oz. And who knew carving a turkey could look so sexy?
Also, the entire soundtrack for this episode was absolutely brilliant.

Did anyone else think that at one point James was about to dance??? Yes! When Rory was powering the record player, the knees started bouncing a bit! I loved the bit where he was feeling the first drops of rain - he's got such shiny eyes

Just watched it. Loved it all. I want to play Cracker Roulette. I want to decorate my tree like that, although it's only 5 ft tall! I want James to carve my (boneless) turkey (no joint problems here James!). Such fun! (Thanks for the download Dahlia!!).

Making that turkey was really gross and it made me sad and it it wasnt for the rest being so f**kingly fantastic, I wouldnt have watched it. And if I didnt have a good imagination. And if I couldnt skip those scenes. But overall: I enjoyed it loads, even though I havent watched it yet with sound ;D Oh by the way: The Dutch 'Facebook' called 'Hyves' is in English now as well, and I've updated my "James May's Man Lab" Hyves. Please do take a look and it would be nice if you'd become a member... jamesmaysmanlab.hyves.nl/

I have a complaint - I am very disappointed indeed! I feel let down!
In the introduction to the programme - 'and we are going to do everythinK properly!' With a ******* K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOW VERY, VERY BAD INDEED!
I was so convinced I had mis-heard I had to rewind and listen again - and yes - thats what he said!
The rest of the programme was reasonably good! The snow wasn't really snow - it was collected ice! The snow making outdoors was never going to happen in August - I predicted rain from the very beginning! The tree cutting was very good indeed (I liked it a lot) The decoration applicators were well done, as was the rotating tree - and it not falling over!. The turkey roasting didn't really interest me at all (what was the purpose of it?) I loved the crackers! The bike thing was another thing that didnt do anything for me!
For me - one that I will easily delete from sky-box when I need some space!

Very, very good episode. Doesn't beat Budgie #35 for me, but it was still thoroughly entertaining and I laughed out aloud several times, mostly at James's sarcastic voiceovers. And the mangled fairy on the tree. And the carrot argument. And Oz dressed like a smurf. And the innuendo. And James giggling during the credits. ;D Oz is great...he just lets go and doesn't seem to care how he looks. ;D Oh, for the real Christmas to be as fun as Man Lab's. Half the time, I do actually want to blow up the guests. Someone please give me a booming cracker. ;D

I think the best part, for me, was either when it started raining and James got quite excited...or when he went to fire the angel on the top of the tree and she peeked her head out the top of the mortar. HILARIOUS. James is such a pleasure.

This cracker object, collection of objects intrigues me. Do you Englanders do that? On Christmas Day I go to my brother's house for posole. Lots of red chile.
Nat please look up posole, it can be made without meat.

I need ALL the songs used on this series, and the Christmas special. Help!
Also, Ive just remembered my favourite bit out of the christmas episode. When Simmy they finish putting the decorations on the tree and he says "put lights on" and then he goes "awwww" it's so bloody cute! I love him. I want to marry him.
