I'm going to watch it again without the tv on to make sure I get all the innuendos and nuances.

I was decorating the tree whilst watching this - very festive. I did note he had rather extraordinarily beautiful blue eyes. Bring on the screen shots! But not by me cos I'm rubbish. I liked the crackers best. And the decapitated fairy.
I sat down to watch Brian Cox. Just as well. It was not light entertainment but a brain fest and excellent.

The chopping carrots argument was really funny. I loved the looks he was giving Oz to shut him up. The whisky bong looked good too.

I have a complaint - I am very disappointed indeed! I feel let down! In the introduction to the programme - 'and we are going to do everythinK properly!' With a ******* K!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW VERY, VERY BAD INDEED! I was so convinced I had mis-heard I had to rewind and listen again - and yes - thats what he said! Flat, I just assumed that when he said everythin(k) it was because of something that linguists call the "n g click". The "n g click" is when someone pronounces a word that ends in "ing" with a slight k sound at the end. In the US, it is more common in some regions of the country than others. While watching British television I have noticed that some people over there also seem to have it as a speech pattern. I have noticed that James pronounced things with the "n g click" before. Although, I will admit, it usually isn't as pronounced as heavily as it was in this episode of Man Lab. But, then again, maybe he meant to say that they were doing every-think properly. I loved this episode. So far, although I absolutely loved the pet funeral, I think this was my favorite episode. I loved how they felled and decorated the tree. And I thought the Christmas crackers were brilliant. (Although, that isn't really a tradition we have in the US.) Just one question, can someone explain to me the tradition of the paper hats? I have seen it before and kinda wondered what it meant.

Possibly something to do with the 3 kings?? Always paper hats in Christams crackers here. We call them Christmas bon-bons though, at least in my family. An essential part of Christmas lunch.

hahah, yes, when watching the series, I had a bad urge to be there around the table, sucking that whisky stuff and throwing with snowballs (and potatoes - did anyone notice that? ;D )

Finally watched all of it. Loved the "overflowing sack" and multitude of other innuendos he decided to put in there. Decorating the tree was incredibly cool, getting into an argument with Oz (and scheduling a time for it was even better) and James being excited when he discovered Simmy had more snow. I used to do the firecrackers with my grandparents for the holidays when they were still alive. It was fun to see James's take on it. I really wish he would've told us how to make his samurai hat; I really want one. I'm also glad Oz won the money.
James giggling throughout the credits made my day, though. Anytime he just breaks with laughter or happiness (or any kind of strong emotion, actually) is one of my favorite things he does. ;D
It doesn't beat the "pet cemetery" for me either, but it definitely had its moments.

Just check this thread, I've posted links to all the episodes(I think...parts of this past month are kind of hazy). If it's for tonight's TG episode well I can't post that until after it's aired and I have something to post.

I made a mini-samurai hat and have it placed at a jaunty angle over the phone in the office. My OH saw it and loved it! Now I want to create more!
