Ok, I'm pretty sure James was speaking, but I got caught up in his slight stripping sequence. I'll have to watch that again... and again... Yeah, that was the best part. I didn't want to ruin the surprise for anyone else though.

*SNORT* James has this particular talent for making my (and many other peep's) day and he does so in varying ways. Let's just say that the fashion show piccies have degraded me to a rolling heap on the floor, but it's not the floor in the NC...

Excellent article; typical James in many of the concepts but entertaining nonetheless. I particularly liked his comment about catwalk models,
In the show I was watching earlier there were girls with very deadset expressions, so deadset that I got the impression that if I stood at the end of the runway with a revolver they would still keep coming, like zombies, and they wouldn’t stop until you got them between the eyes or something.
One of the things I like so much about James is the way he totally throws himself into the things he believes in, albeit that some of the time he's rather knowingly whimsical (arched eyebrow, anyone?). He also makes me laugh - a lot. He must be a fascinating person to know.

Love the video that goes with the article. Here's the YouTube link:
Nice quote: ;D
"Sarah has this thing she calls her magic wardrobe, from which things appear that I have never seen before. I think that magic wardrobe’s correct name might be Harvey Nichols.”

As far as I can tell, James' interview on Absolute Radio is not included in the short podcast that's up on the website. Anyone know of a link where we can listen to it?

Oooo. Lots going on. Love the interviews he's doing. I'm falling for him all over again, even with shorter hair. Gorgeous sexy man - lick.

I enjoyed that interview, right from the start when James said, "Morning, Chris". with that tone of weary but amused resignation. Being that I really like James' hair shortish now I've got used to it, but not very short (I loved it longer), I was a bit disappointed to hear that he now had to keep the 'continuity haircut' for at least another year, though! Bryony Gordon is of course the same journalist who has written a previous article about James. She's the one about whom he admitted in today's interview that he was "just trying to be a bit naughty", (for which I read disingenuous) when he made the comments about Top Gear that made the headlines. The one who I cropped out of the picture that went with this otherwise excellent article in August 2010. www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/books/authorinterviews/7968075/James-May-interview-and-exclusive-book-extract.html

I thought she was the same journalist. A bit dim-witted, mayhaps?

Well......it does make you wonder. I got the impression James found it easy to mislead her, just a little bit!

While stood in a never ending queue at the supermarket I was flicking through the paper and came across Jezza's column in the Sun which made me smile... " Earlier this week, my colleague, James May went on the radio to explain that Top Gear will be back on television very soon featuring the same line-up of hosts.
Er, but that's what he thinks.
But, I'm sorry, I can't possibly work with a man who spends his spare time moonlighting - as this horrifying picture shows , *insert pic of James mincing down the catwalk* as a male model.
Over the years I've tolerated his long explanations about how things work and kept schtum as he drove along at 4mph. I've put up with his unusual politics and his silly hair. But now it seems he thinks he's Jean Paul Gaultier and that, I'm afraid, is the final straw. Next thing you know he'll be getting his teeth whitened."Jezza does make me laugh :-) Nearest pic I have to mincing status Psst...James, your knicker line is showing

Another little snippet of interview
....UCLAN’s students will have been even more excited to know that Top Gear’s James May took the time to watch their show. Now you may be asking yourselves why a man that freely admits is “not really a fashionable sort of bloke” was attending a fashion show. Well he was filming the next series of his “Man Lab” and took the time to tell FAME what he thought of the show: “I thought it was pretty good actually, I thought it was fascinating, but I don’t understand why everyone looked so serious – I don’t know why they don’t smile a bit. And I think some of the women look as though they are in need of a good meal, I was expecting some of them to pass out and me to have to leap on stage and revive them!” He goes on to talk about the entire event: “it all looks really professional. There doesn’t seem to be much of my kind of clothing – there isn’t (aren't - I can't believe James would be so ungrammatical!) many leather jackets or floral shirts.”
