Nobody wants to look "dapper', that's why he has on brown shoes. Anyway, they go with the gold tie. And what is that knot; anyone know their tie knots? It's a look and he's gone for it.

What color shoes do you wear with a brown suit? Certainly not black. Beige? Maybe I'm not as fashion savvy as you guys but I think the brown shoes go with a brown suit.

I am quite sure it is dark brown, look at the woman's black pants in the back of the picture. My cousin, who rarely agrees with me has also said it looks dark brown and not black. Not picking a fight here. I think he looks fine except his pants may be a little too long. I don't think men wear morning suits here in the States.

So, if it is dark brown, who made it? It's not off the rack , coz no-one makes them that colour. Do they?? Dunno, coz I'm not into that sort of stuff.

It's dark grey. Nobody makes morning suits in brown.
They'd get drummed out of the Tailors' Guild, their sewing machines ritually dismantled and their tailors chalk ground to dust.
So, no. He shouldn't be wearing brown shoes but, hey, we've seen worse crimes against fashion perpetrated by James.
My late step-dad had a penchant for brown shoes as well. He turned up to his brother-in-law's funeral in a grey suit, white shirt, black tie and brown loafers with a knot in the laces where they had snapped. My mum never forgave him, bought him black shoes and would hide the loafers whenever he had to attend an "occasion".
James is out of the same mould. I await the day when he turns up on TV with his glasses mended with Elastoplast.

This is a great big LOL to me, no one in Australia would care about brown shoes, just so long as you showed up .
{now thongs, aka flip flops to Americans,might get you drummed out of the church, depending}
ie, he's wearing a suit, stop worrying over the details.

Adam Savage, one of the presenters of Mythbusters appeared in glasses mended with a bent paperclip for the better part of one season of Mythbusters. A similar cavalier attitude toward the smaller details of fashion. |

Trying to make snow. I missed that because I'm a Castle fan but turned over to Top Gear after. The first was with Michael MacIntyre ,probably spelled it wrong. I wish he'd come over here he's just so hilarious.
