I've always liked that first one. It was taken around the time that James was still perceived as being 'the quiet one', yet it suggested a confidence and self-irony that made one think of still waters running deep.

I agree Dit. He looks quite fine, whiskers and all. I got used to his longer hair and expected it but shorter does like grey and good.

Hmmm.... I must admit that when I originally saw the photo I thought it was a shirt I hadn't seen before or since. I'll have a look, of course, but most of my photos aren't from programmes but from various other sources. I'll try.

I didn't think I'd ever really come to terms with James with short hair, but this is definitely a good look..... With the beard his short hair long pretty nice, yes. In general though, like you I think I prefer the longer, messier hair. It simply makes him look more like himself, if you know what I mean. |
