The shoes....dear God, the shoes!
I assume he's one of those people who, having found something they like, buys several colours at once so they don't have to think about it for a while. Bright blue, green, pinky-orange - what other horrors has he still to unleash on us?

I can see getting different colors of the same shoe style once one finds a pair that fits and is comfortable.I like to clothes shop, unlike the manly Mr. May, and it's pain finding shoes that fit properly. I've done that with tops, I have eight of the same cotton, ribbed knit, V-necked sweaters, in different colors, that I bought over the course of two years. Some info about that green jumper he's been wearing lately I thought it was old, it is a bit frayed around the collar  |

James May's Campus Visit Thrills Lancaster Students 23 April 2015 12:43 Former Top Gear presenter James May added a buzz of excitement to campus life this week when he visited Lancaster University’s new state-of-the-art Engineering building. The Lancaster graduate was up in the North West to meet the University’s Formula Student Race Car team, of which he is patron. James was hosted by the Head of Engineering, Professor Malcom Joyce, and was impressed by what he saw. He said: “The new building is fantastic. Ecologically designed, full of great equipment – it’s a great place to study and conduct research.” James took time to look over the student race car, a design project led by Dr Chris Lingwood, which sees a Lancaster team competing at Silverstone in the annual Formula Student championship. He complimented the team on the look and feel of their car and even offered to help make some of the components for the 2016 version. The popular television presenter also enjoyed modelling for one of Lancaster’s 3D printers, which produced a precise resin model of him. “The general engineering training on offer here is really impressive,” he commented. James, who left Lancaster in 1985 and received an honorary doctorate from the University in 2010, also took time for a trip down memory lane: “It’s great to find the core of the University much the same as I remember it. Richard Hammond and James May sparked the latest round of Top Gear rumours today when they arrived at the BBC without Jeremy Clarkson. Two thirds of the famous trio rolled up to the corporation's London headquarters on motorbikes this morning - but are yet to reveal what they were discussing with bosses. Both have ruled out appearing on Top Gear without Clarkson, who was sacked following his now infamous row with one of the show's producers earlier this year.

Both May and Hammonds turned up at Broadcasting House in motorcycle gear, Hammond wearing the same protective black jacket and trousers he wore to visit GCHQ in Cheltenham on Tuesday.  From the Daily Mail, of all places (and for once they aren't being completely miserable about all things TG) James is wearing his shirt tucked in! Granted, I know it is largely for the purposes of fancy dress, but it makes his legs look so long. I wish he'd wear his shirts tucked in more frequently. That tidy look is much more becoming. |
