I had a dream a few nights ago that TGL would be returning to melbourne in 2012. Do my dreams predict the future? Time will tell!

The books out on the 13th doesn't always follow that a booksigning is anywhere near the release date?? Would you be able to do an undercover operation to the smoke though

so you here between the 21st oct and 11th nov?? The books out on the 13th doesn't always follow that a booksigning is anywhere near the release date?? Would you be able to do an undercover operation to the smoke though We're going to be back on 21st October for 1 week only (well that's the plan we've not actually booked the flights yet) and will be in "the big smoke" on 21 & 22 Oct as we have tickets booked for the ballet at Sadlers Wells and then we have to be in Plymouth on 23 for a music concert we have tickets booked for.... then "down south" for 2 days and "ooupp norff" for 2 days to see family. Then fly back.... and MOH will be with me the whole time so no way to do a covert operation *sigh* Oh well I can live vicariously through the JMB with tales of the other JMB-ers who can make it to these such events! * has mental images of Afar meeting up with Jacqui in London, both wearing overcoats, trilbies pulled down low over their eyes, Afar having cleverly given her OH the slip.......* This did make me laff JMS ;D I can picture Jacqui and I in such a situation too - We will meet Jacqui..... one day eh?

I wish they would come here. Knowing my luck if we did get a 'Top Gear Live' show in the state it would probably be the 'Top Gear US' guys...And I loathe them.

Now, clear your mind of all bad thoughts and repeat after me: "Top Gear UK is saving the best for last. They WILL be coming to the States. Ohio, California, and any other place abundant with Mayhemers. James will be at all of the shows. He will walk over to me, sit on my lap, and croon softly into my ear, While lightly tapping out the piano accompaniment with his fingers on my thigh." Keep repeating that until you believe it. "If you build it, he will come," right?

(And for that sort of treatment from James, I suspect the UK and other members would be happy to repeat it too!)

And yes I had already thought about the "possile sighting" at the ballet but have tried not to think about it too much or I might become obsessed And I really do hope one day we can meet up - and with other board members too! ...... with or without rain coats ;D I like it when it rains when I visit the UK, that's what living in a desert does to you

@from Afar I know you're in a hotter desert. But it sucks. I spent all those years in Asia with rain and greenery and ended up in New Mexico because it was next to Arizona and wasn't it nice back in 1964 when my father retired from the Army. Of course we were overseas again but always back here.

You know that TGL is getting closer when the promotion starts. Apparently James has started doing the rounds as tweets are starting to come in: From the BBC Worldwide Head of PR for Global Brands. James May on form at his Absolute Radio pre-record to promote Top Gear Live new tour at Excel London and NEC and from a girl who says 'I work at the BBC on digital loveliness' Sleb spot... James May is in the house! Also, the guy who runs this PR agency www.performancepr.com/lowres.html (go to MPH) has been promoting the show with an 'event' at Excel in London, and this pic and info Chris Evans after his ride with The Stig in his special Black Cab around London ExCel.Edit: this came through as well - I thought at first that the 'him' being gyrated against was James, but it's actually the guy trying to interview James! Fast Car Magazine Well today is fun LOL. Sibbo is trying to interview James May on the phone whilst Jules is gyrating against him going “choo choo” and blowing a whistle (this is known as the gay train in FC Towers).

I've been trying to book a hotel near the NEC Brum for the weekend of TG live my pref being the Hilton but I'm having loads of trouble getting a suite in there.I wonder if this is any indication of where thay will be stopping as it's only 10mins away from the venue. If we can't get in there it will have to be the Raddison Blu, beautiful looking and close to New Street.
