The hormone kid! LOL!! ;D My OH and I are going to the 3pm show. I think we'll be sitting some way back, but we should still be able to see what's going on. Oh well, I suppose it's our own fault for leaving it until later to book the tickets.  |

Yep, just found my confirmation e-mail - 3pm show on Saturday 12th, then we're going to the Classic Car Show on the Sunday.

Finally got round to booking the hotel for Brum.Hilton booked solid but I got us in the Raddison Blu it looks lovely when I've been past it. Just thought on I'm in Brum next week could have just booked then.  |

Forward...you....never I think something should be organised - then we can all get on sorting out the rest of our TG weekend's ;D Am i right in thinking that it seems to be Saturday is the day when most of us who have come out as going, are there??? How about meeting around lunchtime saturday??? Unless anyone would like to suggest something else or make it an evening gathering.... or both!!!  ;D |

I seem to be the the odd one out with the showing at three.Were going to the 6o'clock show.The Raddison is almost next door to New Street.The plan is get checked in by 2,train to the NEC,classic car show,TG show back into Brum.I hopefully should be able to work out something but can work around whatever you all want to do.
I suppose the bonus of two different hotels we can have a stake out at both.lol

Anonia, a word of advice - the Classic car show is usually massive! I think it ran to 5 halls last years, and that was without the classic bikes section. It took at least half a day last year to get round, even longer if you stop to linger over the beautiful exhibits. You might find you have to sprint if you are trying to fit it in before the 6 o'clock TGL. Having said that, the new layout for TGL might mean that the Classic show is smaller.
Lunchtime Saturday is sounding good, though having to pay separately for the Classic show might bugger it up a bit - in previous years you could just wander in and out between the two. I think someone will need to look at the map of the new layout to find a meeting place, because again, as it's all new, there can't be a simple way like the ones who've been before saying "we'll meet by the stairs".

Brill! It'll make it much easier to plan the time. The classics are well worth a visit and knowing you can mooch in and out takes a bit of pressure off.
